As much as I support settlement, I think the father needs to go back to the village and thank the Palestinians who helped in the rescue they acted in a neighborly and compassionate way following a bungled crime.

Sorry, but I don't quite see how a bunch of Arabs standing around an abandoned car with a baby in the back seat is in any way helpful. Did they do anything to apprehend the culprits? No. A nod of appreciation to the man who allowed the hijack victim to use his phone, and a nod of appreciation to the man who led the husband/father and his friend to the vehicle. Ask yourself this: were it not for the baby in the back seat, do you really think the car would still have been there, even assuming it would have been abandoned? And the Arab police forces that arrived on the scene (too late, of course) appeared to be far more interested in taking the husband and father of the victims into custody than in actually going out and finding the culprits. Neighborly and compassionate? 'fraid not. Self-serving.

than why do you live there ?
5. The kindness of the Palestinians in this situation..

Should not be ignored. A man stopped in the street and let the woman use his phone. A man brought the father to the car and a crowd was guarding the car when the father arrived. This story could have gone in a much different direction, but in this case, the people did the right thing and should be commended.

Please do not forget about all those good Arabs that helped... they do exist and their narratives should be hard too....

"Guarding" the car? Don't assume facts not in evidence. No one helped the infant in the back seat. More than likely, they were waiting for local police to take the baby .... and then guess what would happen to the car?
8. Sarah, please keep your vitriol to yourself

You seem to be the one coming up with assumptions.

Why do people live in Chicago? Maybe because it's their home?

You need to stop with the brain farts... no matter the situation you will *always* try and find fault with the Palestinians.
11. Maybe now ynet will also begin reporting attacks on Hebrew U
Scott ,   Ramat Gan   (12.04.13)
Ynet seems to report very selectively, ignoring terror attacks on Jews in Judea & Samaria. Many motorists have been attacked by rocks & firebombs at Hebrew Univ., yet you never hear about it here. I'm not surprised some Arabs offered help. Most Arabs are good people whose societies have been hijacked by extremists. Before the intifadah 10 times more Arabs worked in Israel & Jews shopped in Arab towns on Shabbat all the time.

Are you aware that Dolev has suffered from fewer terrorist attacks than Netanya? Why do you live in Netanya?

Nobody needs to "try" to find fault with the fakestinians. Their faults are there for all to see.

It may seem unkind but one only has to look at history. There are legitimate reasons for the vitriol. The Fogel family for example.

I don't feel exposed and vulnerable and from the moment I would feel like that I would move out. This guy is living in a settlement, between people that - suprise - don't like him. Stop whining if something happens, come to live where you will feel safe and where we - taxpayers - don't have to pay your security.
17. #15: It is wrong to paint all with the same brush
Dave ,   Montreal, Canada   (12.05.13)
Horrible acts have been conducted, and the people responsible should be held to the ultimate account, but there are also many good people. Failure to recognize that bad policy pushes good people to the bad will only exasperate the situation. You have to push yourself above petty hatred.
