1. thoroughly sick of the "Brothers & Sisters"
Michael ,   Haifa   (12.04.13)
one lot has control over our money, while the other one wants to control our personal morality.
2. Domestic partnership
Yosef ,   NYC   (12.04.13)
Rabbi Eliezer Melamed proposed a new concept of a domestic partnership, whereby any two people can enter into a contract that either can terminate at any time with no reason given -- no Ketuba and no Get. They would have the same legal rights as a married couple without having to be married and bound by Hilchot Ketubot and Gitten. This would end the problem of agunot and same gender marriage. It would only involve a court if the pair have children and separate.
3. Civil partnership
Sherlock Holmes ,   London England   (12.04.13)
In a Jewish state Jewish marriage involves one man and one woman. If two men or two women want to be partners with the rights of a married couple one needs a new term such as civil union or civil partnership -- but not marriage.
4. No3 what do you care how we call it?
Non Jewish immigrant ,   Haifa   (12.04.13)
No one told you we want to be married by rabbis or priests. We do not tell you how to marry so do not tell us how to marry either. We don't need any religious representative to acknowledge our relations, wether heterosexual or homosexual. We just want the state to recognise our rights So please go back to your cave and marry with others of your ilk
5. Yes Atid's mentality is no different than
Israeli 2   (12.04.13)
that of the leftists. Period.
6. 4. No3 what do you care how we call it?
Norbus ,   Jerusalem   (12.04.13)
Because marriage in an institution more than 4000 years old. Just as Gay used to mean happy before the homosexual lobby took it over Because Israel is a Jewish State that defer to Torah the basis upon which Judaism was founded Because there is an Agenda trying to turn our world upside down and it should be defeated
7. Those prepared to die for their state
Avramele   (12.04.13)
...should be allowed to love and partner in their state as they choose. And one more time, Israel is a Jewish but secular democratic state not one beholden to Halacha. The intent of those who founded the state and signed it's declaration of independence were very clear to all at that time. BG's compromises on marriage and army service was not out of principal but political wisdom or perhaps the lack thereof. Time to right at least one wrong and allow civil marriages for all.
8. Kids will grow up thinking its normal. It sends a dangerous
Adi ,   Zurich   (12.04.13)
Kids will grow up thinking its normal. It sends a dangerous message. I really hope one day that all the gay men will become normal. Find a girl and get married to have children. gays are finest people but their chosen path is so mistaken.
9. I'm so glad that I didn't vote for this party.
Rotem   (12.04.13)
Primitive idiots!
10. #9 Primitive
Ben ,   USA   (12.04.13)
Primitive is believing there is no One in the universe besides what you can see or hear or touch. Primitive is thinking that mankind is only beholden to whatever it fancies or is fashionable at the time. Primitive is believing anyone can do whatever they want whenever they feel like it because it is their right. THAT is primitive!
11. Lol Norbus and Jewish state
Non Jewish immigrant ,   Haifa   (12.04.13)
You claim Israel is a Jewish state. Then why I can eat cheeseburgers on Shabbat and then drive to see a movie and listening to some woman singing in the radio? What Jewish state are you talking about? I don't see any Jewish state around here
12. #10 funny! Did you find this on your own?
(12.04.13)
You convince no one with your balatant definition of what primitive is. Primitive is whatever what made, done or believed at the dawn of humankind. That includes that there's someone above telling how to lead your life. Now what's primitive is that you need to be told by someone else how to live your life.
13. loud mouthed immigrant
Birdi ,   Israel   (12.04.13)
You want the State of Israel to recognize your rights? You are not a Jew. You do not have the right to demand anything from the State of Israel. Return to where you came from & demand your rights. Some nerve you have.
14. 8.
Birdi ,   Israel   (12.04.13)
Adi, Gays cannot become ''normal'' as you wish, they are born ''like that'' However, I do agree with you that kids will grow up thinking ''it's'' normal, which does set a dangerous message.
15. The gay parade
Ezra ,   San Diego   (12.05.13)
I'm pretty sure obama's liberal administration started this pro-gay mentality. Gays have been around forever, but lately we're seeing a lot of this fake-affection for the lifestyle. Interesting how the non-jewish in Israel are lock-step with obama.
16. So Birdi, Jews have no rights outside of Israel
(12.05.13)
According to your logic then Jews have no rights outside of Israel. They also should go back to where they came from. What a nerve they have to get rights outside of Israel!
17. 13. Birdi. People speak provocation as they want attention
Adi ,   Zurich   (12.05.13)
13. Birdi. People speak provocation as they want attention. Who ever it is, they are trying to insult to have attention. Feel sorry for them. In regards to his cheeseburgers. There is a joke that in Israel its ok as there is no meat anyway. Haha.
18. This was a bad marriage from the start!
An Orthodox Jew ,   Jerusalem   (12.05.13)
Believe me 2 guys living together under one roof would get on far better than Yesh Atid and Habayit Hayehudi. Time for them to divorce. Gay marriage has my vote, G-d can punish me when I go to Olam Habah (Heaven)
19. Shameful Israel
Chris L. ,   Ariona, USA   (12.05.13)
No.3 is correct. But for anyone following Judaism, same sex marriage is a sin before God. For born again believers following Jesus, same sex marriage is a sin. Maybe the rest of the watered down feel good churches condone this behavior today but its still a sin before God.
20. # 8 Gay or Normal ?
An Orthodox Jew ,   Jerusalem   (12.05.13)
Gays think they are normal, if they are happy that way why should they change. On the other hand if they are not happy then they can always try and change. G-d gave everyone on this earth freewill.
