Israel's Technion is also offering such courses. One such course, given in Arabic, is attracting similar attention from students in Arab lands. It deals with nano-technology, and is given by the head of Technion's team developing the electronic "nose" sniffing out cancers. And not to be left out, Hebrew University has four courses available through Coursera.

So, the Jordanian teacher says that he does not recognize Israel and believes that Israel is an enemy. So much for the "Peace treaty" between Israel and Jordan. How much is that treaty worth then ?

Yoram Kalman   (12.29.13)
You are right. I too was sorry that the article was not clear about other MOOCs offered by Israeli universities: The Hebrew University, Tel Aviv University, and the Technion. As an Israeli, I am proud of each of these. I was also quoted as "The school's manager" while I am simply a faculty member at the Open University's department of management and Economics, as well as the director of international academic initiatives.
