He wasn't taking part in the clashes? I have trouble believing that.
2. So what? kids can't commit crimes?
Ilan ,   Toronto, Canada   (12.07.13)
these aren't 15 year olds like you think they are, they're not the league of legends playing, lets go to the mall type of kids. these are indoctrinated children who have had their innocence and childhood stolen from them by their screwed up society that has been training them to hate and kill JEWS. One of these "Kids" just last month Murdered an Israeli on a bus with a knife while he was sleeping. Of course this apparently wasn't news worthy, or when it was reported internationally it was twisted to make the grandmother of the 16 year old murderer a victim after the IDF searched her home and turned it inside out! These "Kids" are capable of killing, just like an adult especially in packs just like that Palestinian couple who got attacked by a pack of teen cuz they thought they were Jewish! The real tragedy was that, that kid and many others like him stopped being kids a long time ago. Palistinants aren't just dehumanizing Jews, they're dehumanizing themselves!

The news agency providing this story is a well known antisemitic outlet.
4. Wait. Let me guess.
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (12.07.13)
He was: (a) Picking flowers to bring to his mother when he strayed too close to the rioters, apparently failing to realize that he was holding a large rock in his hand to fend off dangerous butterflies on the flowers. (b) Calmly walking home from/on his way to the mosque, a good mile away from the riots -- poor innocent thing found clutching a rather large rock. (c) Playing innocently too close to the rabid rioting Arabs. He was playing kick-the-rock, and that's why he was holding one when he was shot. (d) All of the above. (e) None of the above. Go with (e). He was preparing to hurl a stone at an Israeli soldier. G-d be thanked, for the very last time.
5. A knife cuts both ways
Yisroel ,   USA   (12.07.13)
It's about time that the Palestinians learned this fact. You can't riot and throw stones at babies and not expect some reciprocal damage. The soldier should be given a medal!
6. Difference. NO Israeli is happy that an Arab boy dies. No On
Adi ,   Zurich   (12.07.13)
Difference. NO Israeli is happy that an Arab boy dies. No One. However it is equally important to check the source of the bullet. A soldier will not fire a live round from a guard tower at an isolated individual.
7. #1, #2
(12.07.13)
The IDF never shoots any the hundreds of rioters with fire-bombs, grenades and guns. Ask any Leftist: IDF always manages to shoot the innocent boy who dreamed to be a doctor, walking back from the pharmacy for his grandfather

It's about time Jews learn the fact, that thieves are not welcome anywhere.

I beg to differ. He can hardly be described as an "Arab boy." He is (now, was) a violent stone-throwing terrorist -- to which age is neither a bar nor a mitigating factor. If you play dangerous adult games, you should expect that unhappy consequences may ensue. And the current incident is a far cry from the murder of three Fogel children -- did you hear any expression of shock and outrage from the Arab community? No. What you DID hear were poems written in the murderers' honor. So forgive me if this Israeli is rejoicing that a 15 year old terrorist lost his life while plying his vile trade. Perhaps another Fogel family has been spared a horrible tragedy down the road. And if a soldier from the vantage point of a tower sees a fellow soldier about to come under attack, yes, he will fire. And soldiers in guard towers do not fool around with rubber bullets. They load the real deal.

You always accuse us of teaching our kids hatred, but you never look at occupation as a reason for all of these disasters for both parties.
15. #14, the entire Muslim Middle East is violent, not occupied
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (12.07.13)
Also in Nigeria, Mali, Algeria, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Somalia and many more. Can you see the Islamic connection now?
16. #14, Ali...YOU are an occupier !

17. To all commented....
jimi ,   palestine   (12.07.13)
Try...just try to think that your kid was killed and then re read your foolish statements.... He was killed the same way and the same reason as the holokost ...hatred and disrespect of other's lives, rights, hopes and freedom. Imagine it again and go back to be humans.
18. to 6, are you serious, read the comments
john ,   jerusalem   (12.07.13)
There are many Israelis that are extremely happy when a Palestinian kid is killed. the comments here are a perfect proof.
19. When you play with fire, expect to be burnt. This applies to

Was it valid for Europian Jews as well?
21. Re 6. No Israeli is happy to see another human being die. ID
Adi ,   Zurich   (12.08.13)
Re 6. No Israeli is happy to see another human being die. IDF is treating wounded Syrians. This is the difference between Israel and the rest. It is why Israel is special. The few comments here that state opposite represent no body and may very well originate in Antarctica.

I'm sorry, but when a violent thug attempts to cause injury and even death, I don't care if he lives or dies. If he wants to gamble with his life, that is his business. Israeli soldiers and police are charged with the task of preserving the peace (I remind you it was the Arabs who initiated the violence) and protecting and defending the Israeli people. A fifteen year old thug will not live to take the lives of a sleeping, innocent family of five, including a toddler and a three month old infant. That is cause for celebration, is it not?
23. To: No. 20
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (12.08.13)
Would you mind telling me when Jews challenged the peace and security of Europe? Did Jews hurl boulders at the vehicles driven by non-Jews? No. Did Jews massacre innocent sleeping families? No. Did Jews blow up restaurants? No. Did Jews blow up buses? No. Did Jews blow up nightclubs? No. Did Jews set fire to tires and create toxic fumes? No. Someday, Jarda, you will discover you have an opposable thumb and perhaps even learn to walk upright. For now, try not to scrape your knuckles too badly as you clamber off your barstool and stagger your way down the street.

Birdi ,   Israel   (12.08.13)
You cannot prove by the few posts here that ''many Israelis are extremely happy'' about the young Palestinian boy who was killed. There is to be a full inquiry about his death & from what most of us Israelis know about the Palestinians, is that they have lied in the past about who killed whom & when. So before you jump down Adi's throat, I suggest you open a few recent history books about the dire situation we have here in Israel.
25. why a bullet
david ,   panama   (12.08.13)
I´m a zionist and 100% pro Israel, but I wonder why the soldier use live ammunition for a stone thrower?
26. Everybody is reacting without any facts
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (12.08.13)
First did he exist? That might be the easiest to find out. Second did he die? That might be harder. Third did Israel have anything to do with it? Might have been killed by Arabs and blamed on Israel - has happened a lot. Fourth was he involved or used as human shield? All these and more need to be answered before assigning any blame if there is any to assign
