1. Better in Israel than their home countries
Jacob E ,   Holon, Israel   (12.08.13)
It is sad, yet good for us that women, and people of secular beliefs in any religion have it better in Israel for their lives than their own countries.
2. #1 If they have it so good, then why did she go to Sweden?
Sasha ,   Stockholm, Sweden   (12.08.13)
Also, by 2020, 50% of all Jewish firstgraders, those aged 7, will be ultra-Orthodox. This doesn't even count the "religious nationalists". The seculars are disappearing fast in Israel, and the country has become far more religious. Witness the burial of Ovadia compared to Arik Einstein. 600,000 vs 2,000. Not even close.
3. @2 - Arik vs Ovadia
joe ,   nyc   (12.09.13)
This is easy to explain. Arik's music isn't great ... it isn't even good ;) . Everyone is afraid to say it out of respect to the deceased.
4. #2
R ,   Israel   (12.09.13)
The burial attendance statistics mean nothing. Seculars don't normally flock to funerals of people they don't know.
5. TOO SAD!
Iranian Jew ,   LA   (12.09.13)
RADICALS AND MULLAHS are painting bad pictures of religion in people's minds. Iranian youths specially are distancing themselves away form religion more than ever these days.
6. #2 Imagine how many more...
WeHaveOurProblemsToo ,   Jerusalem Israel   (12.09.13)
would return to Jewish tradition if our religious leaders weren't so extreme ....many. We have our extremists as well that turn many away .
7. to #2
Ivan ,   Haifa   (12.09.13)
Seculars in Israel are not active, they are even afraid, israeli homosexuals dont kiss in public for example, like it happens in Europe, but religious cant use force against us, they only dare to use force against lonely women but they are also afraid of us, never act against seculars if a secular male is close to them.
