If the army does not need so many recruits - which only Haredi apologetics claim - why should those exempted come only from one sector, why shouldn't my sons be exempted too? Are their lives of a lesser value? If there is a general draft there needs to be a very good reason to exempt a small minority of candidates by a reasonable criterion which does not cause massive discrimination. Being Haredi or blond with blue eyes cannot be such a criterion. Maybe you should consider that those 'Israelis' who, according to your impression, cannot see where they go wrong, may simply disagree with your opinion (or do you think that cannot be the case, since you are always right?).
