There have been some really bad rape cases in the past few months. I have written before that Chemical castration should be enforced in cases like this jail time will not help this kind of sick depraved behavior, you have to go to the source of the problem.

I agree, crimes against children, women, the weak are unacceptable in any society. I wouldn't go as far as genital mutilation, then again what if it was my loved one, I would probably make sure he never sees a prison cell if you know what i mean. however locking an animal in a cage for life should be mandatory when it comes to rape.

It appears the judges have given the rapist the maximum sentence as mandated by the law. If you feel that this sentence is not harsh enough, you should address your complaints to the legislating body i.e. the Knesset.

Have you even considered the idea of the girl's virginity being sold by the mother for financial gain? Just yesterday CNN did a report from the far east about girls between 8 and 13 being sold by their own mothers for prostitution. This man comes from a religious family and don't rush to judge him before all the facts are clear.

Your idea that the mother sold her daughter virginity is sick and evil. But , even if this was offered to him, his upbringing morals should have kicked in l hope God will do justice with you.

One thing further - the entire Torah is premised on bein adam L' Chavero.
