4. Well done.
A Jerusalemite ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (12.12.13)
This bill has to be rethought and planned *together* with the Bedouin citizens of Israel.
5. With time there will be only one "Kind" of an Israeli.
Michael ,   California, USA   (12.13.13)
People should mix, intermarry, live everywhere on an equal basis. There is room for one integrated Israeli type of a person in Israel. Settle the Bedouins in Ramat Hasharon to encourage the trend.
6. Eventually Jews and Arabs Will Face A Common Enemy
Zechariah   (12.13.13)
By 2100 The Jews and Islamic Moderates will face Common Enemies Armed with Horrific Weapons .A common United front to protect the Land and it's people ought be Built.

8. Seems like everyone and anyone can come & "carve up" some
tom ,   tel aviv   (12.13.13)
tasty morsel off this clueless/headless Land of Israel and get away with it! Obviously we deserve a "Bibi"....(I don't think so, but here we are anyway). Next it'll be the Sudanese, announcing right to be 'free" of Zionist oppression and claiming the (already conquered) Old Bus Station quarter in Tel Aviv! Believe me: they'll get it, with the help of the Righteous (in their own minds) Israeli Left.
9. Irony
David ,   UK   (12.13.13)
How amazing that an Israeli newspaper can talk of "resettling Bedouin" without any sense of irony. It is not long ago that others were "re-settling" our people "to the east". This is not about re-settling but forcible expulsion of the local population.
10. mistreatment
rm ,   NL Amsterdam   (12.13.13)
Want to know what I think is mistreatment? Pretending to have a comprohensive solution for a problem and not bother to consult with the people you make plans for. It's so stupid, ignorant and malicious I think it's mind-boggling....and the government really had no other choice but to bury the plan.....and start over.....
11. It boggles the mind that posters on
Runner1983 ,   USA   (12.13.13)
this site feel that the Bedouins can be treated in this manner. What have you become? There are none so blind than those who refuse to see....
12. If it helps secure Israel's hold on Judea & Samaria so be it
(12.13.13)
13. the whole country will suffer thanks to Benny Begin & Bibi
zionist forever   (12.13.13)
By backing down on this the message Natanyahu has sent to both the Bedouin and the leftist courts it is illegal to uproot Bedouin illegal villiages. Result is it will lead to an increase in these villiages being built and the government will legalize existing illegal ones. Its also probably going to bring to an end all the big plans for large scale Negev development. If we can't uproot illegal villiages and force the residents to move so when the government needs to demolish a villiage to build a road or new town the Bedouin will go to the courts who will after months of talking tell the government go around. End result will be government thinks it will be to much hassle to keep fighting the Bedouin so best option is not to develop the Negev on a large scale, for 65 years governments have been talking about developing the Negev & done nothing so whats the big deal if this government does the same? The whole country is going to loose out because Benny Begin who drafted the bill got cold feet and convinced Bibi to kill it.
14. The "Good Side" of the Prawer Plan
Dee Bee ,   The Galilee, Israel   (12.13.13)
Now we know what the Bedouins stand for: violence and support of the pro-Palestinian hate Israel factions.
15. #10 do the police consult with criminals before making an

arrest?
16. Hey Tom
Non Jewish immigrant ,   Haifa   (12.13.13)
Anyone who chosen to come to build his life here (legally), whatever the reason is, work, pay taxes and is involved in Israeli society, is entitled to his piece of the cake
17. The commandment that covers all others
exUK ,   TEl Aviv   (12.13.13)
apart from those relating to God or religion is "Treat others as you would wish to be treated. However,in our case, even though Jews have been pushed around and ill treated for 2000 years,we haven't learned anything have we? The Beduin were in this place far longer than we were.We think we can do whatever we like, have no shame or interest in what the world thinks of us,and even spread blatent lies in the press and so called PR that "we are doing them a great service" Whilst I would not wish to live like a Beduin, this is their life experience They know no other way of life.We simply cannot ride roughshod over anyone in Israel who gets in the way of our land grabs. We should have a monitored referendum of any minority and of ALL of our cotizens, not just those with religious or settler interests.I live in Tel Aviv but find it difficult to not bother about the injustices to minorities in the country.
18. Bedouin as non-jewish citizens get the shaft
JRS ,   USA   (12.13.13)
Jews get the benefits.
19. On INN,this wasn't treated so well as here.
David Silversteen ,   Berlin, Germany   (12.15.13)
I am pro-Curdish and pro-Bedouin,as long as Curds and Bedouins are not antisemite, which they are to some part.Reading this article informs, and Israel helps enormously, and any soft resettlement is okay,if the new houses are even better.Still,if someone refuses,I wouldn't advise to violence. The world media machine would be "thankful" for that and slam Israel over it. But even without Israel doing any wrong, the "world" is antisemite.Sad.Injust.Stupid.Ynet is better than INN (isr.nat.news). Much better. Toda Chaverim. Wow.
