1. To end of Sykes-Pivot aggreement ?
Nora Tel Aviv   (12.13.13)
Israel should wait for a solution to the Syrian embroglio, in order to see, if at the end of it , Syria wil be disassembled or not. Then, the Sykes-Pivot aggreement that artificially created almost all the Middle-East states, could be reassessed. Israel might benefit from this dissolution. Wait and see.

Cof ,   Dubai   (12.13.13)
I love how everyone thinks they know what's going to happen in Syria and they can even limit it to 3-5 scenario. Truth is: no one know what's going to happen there.
4. The slaughter of innocent civilians should be...
Gunnar ,   Gothenburg, Sweden   (12.13.13)
...reason enough for anyone with a conscience to reject a scenario with Assad as a future Syrian leader. 126 000 victims (at least) doesn't disqualify him????? (Yes, I KNOW there are other perpetrators as well) Or maybe mr. Hayden has adopted Stalin's opinions: "One dead man is a tragedy - millions of detahs, well that's just statistics".
5. best solution for syria is a federation
zionist forever   (12.13.13)
Divide the country along religious and ethnic lines with each having some degree of self governance with a federal government that represents everybody. The Kurds, islamists, Alwites, they can all have their bit but stops anybody getting to much power. Give them all local control then they will probably accept a federal government based on proportional representation. Everybody has something but nobody has everything, they might even be able to extend that to Iraq which might help stabilize things there. Tear up Sykes Picot, get rid of Assad, dont support or the FSA instead work to create a Syrian federation.
6. The Fate of Assad

This Man Must Fall, As All Men Must. The Fate of All is Always Dust.
7. I have been saying it all along
sheik rattle & roll ,   USA   (12.13.13)
Better the devil you know, than the devil you don't know. Does Israel really want a Taliban style fanatical government that will make Hamas look like boy scouts with access to sophisticated missiles on it's borders? I don't think so. For over 30 years the Golan Heights has been some what stable. If the Jihadi fanatics gain power that could change in a heart beat. I sympathize with the Syrian citizens, however if the overthrow of Assad means conflict with Israel, lets keep Assad in power and keep Israel safe. Now that is the reason the west doesn't support the "moderate" rebels with both feet. They know the alternative is far worse and a significantly weaker Assad is a dream for Israeli and western strategist.

Why should Israel want a Taliban style fanatical government? Israel keeps out of this conflict as far as possible and provides only humanitarian aid.
10. Future of Syria
Phil N   (12.13.13)
The rebel side has been totally taken over by al-Qaeda and its related organizations. Until the rebel side is defeated and its foreign fighters expelled there can be no peace in Syria. It is time for the US to put pressure on Turkey and Saudi Arabia to stop their support of the rebels. Only at that time is there hope of establishing a free secular regime in Syria.
11. Obamal-Saudi-AlQaeda faction refuse to end Syrian civil war

12. What about home rule?
Raphael ,   Netanya   (12.13.13)
The very core of international law is the right of peoples to control their destiny. Syria is not a national state, and a vote should determine how the various ethnic and religious identities see their future. Reverse to the colonial agreements which despised the will of former turkish subjects and carved geometrical borders in the sand
13. Dissolve Syria
Ami ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (12.14.13)
The best possible outcome of the Syrian Civil Jihad would the dissolution of Syria into four states: Alawite, Druze, Kurdish, and Sunni. Such a break-up would provide the greatest opportunity for the people of Syria to have peace and security.

You need to brush up on your reading comprehending skills. I said I don't think they would like it and a weaker Assad is to Israel's benefit.
