1. infiltrators MUST LEAVE Israel ASAP! Fed up with them
(12.15.13)
2. What a joke
David ,   On this planet   (12.15.13)
and a waste of money, feed the Jewish poor instead and tell the high court to get a life, that world is not going to love you, get over
3. Shameful!
Shlomo ,   Jerusalem   (12.15.13)
As the grandson of a shoah survivor, I cannot imagine treating refugees in such a fashion. They are fleeing horrors in their home countries and we are imprisoning them? How can this be??? I am absolutely mortified by my country.
4. what did the government think would happen?
zionist forever   (12.15.13)
They wanted to come to Israel to stay not live in an open detention centre by night and have freedom by day. They know whilst the government wants them deported & as long as they are there then they can be targets of deportation. Better to just get a bus to Tel Aviv or some other city legally and go underground never to be seen or heard from by the authorities again just as they planned to do had they not been caught. We have a system thats the worst of all worlds. We can only hold them for a year before they have to be released if we didn't get rid of them, we are paying them 500 shekel a month and spent millions to build a a centre there is nobody forcibly keeping them in. Would have been cheaper to just release them all onto the streets because thats what we are going to end up doing after a year anyway after we have paid them 6000 shekel each to encourage them not to run off during that year and spent hundreds of thousands looking after each of them. Thanks to the leftist courts we have a system thats laughable & has been a complete waste of money.
5. Africans treading across the desert to the nearest Hood
Cameron ,   USA   (12.15.13)
Their reaction to being buried in the current snowfall must be interesting.
6. I hate them.
Israeli ,   US   (12.15.13)
Seriously I cannot stand them. These clowns walk the streets like they own them. We are not a democracy and should stop shouting it at everyone- our citizens suffer while illegal violent infiltrators roam the streets. I will return to Israel and start paying taxes when these creeps are deported. US deports illegals why can't Israel?
7. This is the tribute to the rule of law
Yael Schlichting ,   Munich - Germany   (12.15.13)
You better thank hashem, that he gave us a state, that is not totalitarian and fascistic. Israel is a great country and it is particularly great, because Judges are independent and our government honors their rules.
8. #3, economic refugees dear Watson, it's elementary
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (12.15.13)
9. Ridiculous
A Jerusalemite ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (12.15.13)
It is ridiculous to say that they are free during the day when they have to check in to be counted 3 times a day. They can't leave and return for each of these head counts. Either they are free during the day and have to return only at night, or they have to stay in all the time anyway. This is not an open facility - it is a caricature of an open facility.
10. "may" be sent back ? what is "may"???
Yossi ,   Israel   (12.15.13)
Either they be sent back to the closed facility, or be deported (preferable), where do they think they are, in a hotel??? and yes, I agree with #6, I work near s.tlv and they walk around, also speeding on their bicycles nearly crashing into everyone., as if they own the place. enough already!!!!!!
11. "Infiltrators" wiped Palestine off map in '48, '67-present.
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (12.16.13)
#8 not mine.
12. words
rm ,   NL Amsterdam   (12.16.13)
notice how they are called infiltrators not refugees. Words are used to put them into a catagory and make it easier to treat them like dirt and than get rid of them....might as well put them on a plane directly....since they are not jewish they have no rights anyway
13. Well, since you asked ...
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (12.16.13)
"Are we animals?" Yeah, pretty much.
14. re#3. No they are not fleeing any horrors.
Bartley Kulp ,   Haifa, Israel   (12.16.13)
Most of the assylum seekers come from The republic of Etreah and they are evading the draft there. The other large group of assylum seekers where the people from Darfur who truly were people in need of rescue. The numbers of which were around a thousand tops. The rest are a mixed multitude of economic migrants. Mostly from the Sudan, which I might add is an enemy country. Also to add that ethnic group was the one that inflicted genocide on the Darfurians.
15. Deport the damn Africans already!
Phoenix ,   Israel   (12.16.13)
Country of idiots! These are illegals! They are breaking our laws just by stating here! Depor them already! We do not want these Africans in our land and we do not need their crimes everyday!
16. Get a clue
Shlomo ,   Jerusalem   (12.16.13)
What is going on in Eritrea and Sudan is not motivated by economic drive, try speaking from facts! This is the exact reason why Israel is refusing to investigate the refugee status of any of these individuals- because government officials KNOW they will be deserving of refugee status. Absolutely shameful
