Anyone has the right to judge Jews...as long as they don’t prejudge. Most of those who pupport to judge are already decided.
32. Solomon, the Shoah is not only inherrent to jews
(12.19.13)
Shoah is just a word - but it's not unique to Jews! You want to make it so special, but unfortunately others Shoahs are still going on in this world
33. Apartheid hogwash!
frauss ,   Jerusalem   (12.19.13)
Apartheid was a SA government policy/law/political/social system that that kept black and white apart and the black majority subservient to the white minority. THIS DOES NOT EXIST IN ISRAEL and likely, never will. Discrimination and racism are marginally present but these are not government policy nor the law of the land. Calling Israel apartheid renders the word meaningless and an outright lie. It is a tool of war that our enemies use to delegitimize us. It is especially effective with people who know neither Israel or history (the typical NGO leftist).
34. Frankly....i dont understand

If Apartheid goverment in South Africa was from 1948 to 1994. Considering that some Universities were founded just after 1959, not to mention that the university act on education restricted registration of black students until 1990, if Mandela was in prison some 30 years, when exactly he learned law? Im just curious...

36. #32 - wrong
solomon ,   bklyn   (12.19.13)
The word Shoah was coined to represent the systematic killing of Jews because they are Jews or Gypsies. It did not exist in the English language beforehand. In English, the word is holocaust, which always existed, but when referring to the Shoah, Holocaust is capitalized. Please name other Shoah's where people are rounded up in camps to be murdered in a death-machine simply because of who they are. There aren't any. You are free to try and add meaning to a word, but you do so for your own agenda. You are wrong. Sorry.

1. The author's comments are far more measured and reasonable than yours. 2. As "a Yid" I am sure that you know that in the past when Jews suffered the the kind of treatment which we are handing out to "the others" we shouted about inequality and anti-Semitism.

We Israelis love this word SECURITY It's our eiderdown in winter and our airconditioner in Summer. Most Israelis dread the day Peace will come and we will have to change our ways.

No one has been able to refute this statement, not even you. You live in an Israel that doesn't exist; it's in your mind.
40. All for tougher security checks on Arabs
Aharon   (12.20.13)
If it keeps my family and friends and myself from blowing up, I'm all for it. Yes, there will be people who call it racial profiling, etc. but we have to remember that in stopping a terrorist attack, we use history to determine how to prevent them. History tells us that Arabs/Muslims are the ones that commit acts of terror. It only makes sense to give extra scrutiny to these people since they're more likely to be a terrorist. That doesn't mean everyone else gets a free pass.

Edition Friday december 20, page 6, picture showing hundreds of sudanese black men wishing to have a secure shelter in Israel. I felt sad when i saw this people so lonely, who is helping them? i really hope the israeli goverment cooperate to find for them a secure place to live in peace, with freedom and dignity.
