61. 60 When Israel will keep the Tora...
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (12.25.13)
nobody will doubt anymore that Israel is a Jewish State.
62. Simple Solution
Merav ,   Darom, Israel   (12.29.13)
The solution to please all is easy. There are many channels on a plane's sound systems. Put Tefilat ha'Derech on one and the hideous muzak on another. They might even put some decent music on another channel. People would then have a choice. End of problem and everyone should be satisfied.
63. Traveler's prayer
Rhonda ,   Chicago, USA   (12.31.13)
I'm not especially religious but I recite that prayer before leaving the house and even again after taking my seat on the plane. It just gives me a good feeling, adds to my sense of connection. I would have appreciated hearing the prayer. As far as I am concerned I have no issue at all with this being broadcast on El Al. El Al IS different- that's why I fly her when going to Israel.
64. #60 Mr Cohen...Familiar with the Balfour Declaration?
Mark ,   Lodz, Poland   (01.05.14)
...the basis of the re-establishment of our lovely state..warts and all. If Israel isn't the home of the Jews, where is? Brooklyn Heights? Golders Green? Stamford Hill? Are we Jews not a race? As a treif tolerant descendant of the Gaon of Vilna, am I less of a Jew? The Nazis certainly wouldn't have thought so. It won't matter to UKIP either that you're an anti-Zionist, you'd still be Mr Cohen the Jew Mr Cohen..your post reeks of NK. . Furthermore, I wonder where you'd run to when countries start turning on the Jews again as global warming wreaks its geopolitic havoc.
65. #16 You are right, the tryanny of the
On the Balcony   (01.07.14)
majority imposes x-mas jingles on all U.S. airport travelers. Unfortunately, your comparison fails for the simple reason that a majority of Israelis are not religious and do not recite Tefilat Haderech which, of course, those who want to, are free to do.
66. Nothing to object to. Just keep it to yourself, OK?
Yossi ,   jerusalem   (01.07.14)
67. I find it unpleasant. Do you really want to know why?
Yossi ,   jerusalem   (01.07.14)
Because his prayer intrudes on my privacy and i need the El Al rabbi's concern like I need a hole in the head. OK?
68. Ofended
Leib ,   New Amsterdam   (01.14.14)
If it would be Hail Mary would you also be ofended
