These are individuals who reconcile with ease their Orthodoxy and National Service
Without detriment to them, their families, their beliefs, their Communities or their Yeshivas
All it does is give them a greater perspective on their role in Society, strengthens their character, enhances their maturity that surely commands our respect and admiration
That said we must find a way of embracing more Israeli Arabs into National Service
Time and again I hear them saying to me that far from not wanting to serve the MAJORITY of young Israeli Arabs feel that National Service is not just about a job of work but an expression of unity of purpose and values for all Israelis for which they want to feel an integral part
So Zoabi are you listening? Or yet again out on a limb like some lonely Boxer
'Do you hear only what you want to hear and disregard the rest?,
