What a joke. I remember a few years ago a big wig TLV lawyer was drunk driving and killed a Russian girl, who was on the IL Olympic team, and her kid on Namir Rd. Man got a year prison and 10k nis fine for killing 2 people while drunk driving. This guy was raped and abused and he gets 20 years? A bit racist? Or could be sexist. Just change the gender. You think if a woman who was raped and abused for years and she finally killed her perpetrator she would get 20yrs? I think not.

In Israel if a man rapes a woman he can get charged for assault. If a man rapes a man it is mere molestation. This guy should be set free and be sent for Psychological assistance. Or maybe if he was an Arab he would be released by Bibi during a prisoner amnesty. How many real terrorists are walking the street today. All rapists should be castrated with a dull rusty knife. Seems to me that one ought to find redress in the courts for sexual discrimination and/or intimidation but it also appears that Heilo did not seek legal recourse.
Did Heilo -- just once -- contact the police?
By the way -- self-defense is not a credible plea. Heilo did, after all, admit that he attacked Eileen while Eileen's back was turned. Had he kept his mouth shut, the sentence would have been less harsh.
