Israel's Moslem and Christian Arabs - among them atheist Communist Arabs who have no longer an interest in religion, harbour an intense hatred for the Jewish people and Israel and they regard Christian, Moslem and pagan symbols as convenient and expedient ways to replace the Jewish character of Israel. It's not about supporting Christianity or Islam, its about the Communists opposing Israel and the Jewish people's right to exist as free men, women and children in a sovereign and independent Jewish country.

If you don't like Israel you can always leave. Speaking of tolerance, ungrateful foreigners such as yourself enjoy equal civil and religious rights - but no national rights, which many talkbacks have tried to explain to both Jews and non-Jews. Israel doesn't have to sacrifice its Jewish national character to cater to the rights of the minorities. Israel is tolerant and so is USA. You on the other hand - I'm not so sure. USA my friend, doesn't belong to a particular ethnic or religious Group of people. Israel and other nation states that exist across Africa, Asia and Europe are nation states, which means that the national characters of those states refer to a particular ethnic identity. Your logic Richard is like saying that if the Greeks claim that Greece is their national homeland and doesn't belong to anyone else, than the civil rights of Greeks in USA need to be suspended - ignoring of course that German Americans can refer to Germany as their original homeland and English Americans can refer to England as their original homeland. Israel is the Israeli or Jewish homeland. Accept it or leave.

How many Jews around the whole world are backward-looking. I've heard a lot about Shoah and Poles who regarding to many Israeli people were so bad. I think that Jews would be happier when Poland would never exist. Every harm is caused by awful Poles- It is the best explanation for Jews. That opinion is handing down from generation to generation.

Your post is wrong and shows the attitude of previous generations. Yes, who wouldn't look backward after the Shoah/Holocaust? But Jews also look forward. You don't want them to look backward as you know what they'll see...and remember. Jews will always look backward, but relations between Christian Poles and Jews also includes looking forward. But we'll have to wait a few generations for the kind of relationship you wish for instantly...as you want so badly to forget your past. Many Poles did help the Jews. But not nearly enough.
