You are quite right. Never mind murderers, the US won't even release Jonathan Pollard who betrayed his country but has done his time. The problem is, and I am NO lefty, that Israel is almost totally isolated and the situation is getting worse every day due to our Prime Minster's pandering to the extreme right wing. The EU is obsessed with Arab money and terrified of an Islamic backlash if they even leaned a bit towards Israel. Couple this to the historic Antisemitism in Europe over the ages, we cannot be surprised and we will have to accept EU sanctions sooner or later. One can only hope that Israelis and Jews all over the world will boycott EU products as they did German ones after WWII. I doubt it though! Whether we like it or not, we can only count on the USA UN Veto when it comes to the threats of UN sanctions against Israel and thus we have no other option but to kowtow to the whims of Obama who has betrayed all his allies in the Middle East and has succeeded in making the United States into the laughing stock it was under President Carter!
