Unfortunately the Simon Wiesenthal center does not distinguish between antisemitism and freedom of speech. Whereas Khamenei is indeed an antisemite with direct slurs against Jews, Waters is very critical of Israel policies. These are two different things. Blurring them is very dangerous. Many people in the West severely criticism their country (look at sixties in US). We as Israelis should get used to this if we want to consider ourselves a Western country.

I agree with you that criticising Israel is NOT antisemitism. However the people listed in the article don't just Criticise Israel.They use anti Semitic slurs and when this is pointed out to them they respond by complaining that we are accusing them of criticising Israel. If they were genuinely interested in criticising Israel rather than denigrating Jews they wouldn't use ant semitic slurs

Please get your facts straight : The Torah commands " every man from the age of tewnty to the army ." The Torah commands every fit male to serve ,so the ultra-orthodox have no excuse .

In the Torah portion BAMIDBAR ( Numbers 1:1 verse 3 ,) " From twenty years and upwards all who are fit go to the army ." There is absolutley no conflict between the jewish religion and military service ,the Torah mandates military service for all.
