For many years Rabbi Weiss has
fought for a strong Israel, and it is ironic that his reward is now to be cast aside as if he were a heretic.
Those who are disdainful of him are continuing to attempt to "Talibanize "Orthodox Judaism in Israel and thus far they are quite successful. What a disgrace!

6. R. Weiss and the Rabbinate
The Rabbinate's actions are disgraceful. The Rabbinate is seeking to centralize US rabbinic authority and the RCA is its willing instrument. Will Orthodox synagogues next have to get approval from the RCA for the rabbis they hire?

7. religious coercion & dictatorship
Even between the Orthos there is no peace and agreement. this just means that we need full separation of religion and state in israel. religion should not be part of official State apparatus. period.
