1. Miri Regev called black people a cancer!
Jim Yakamoto ,   My Country   (01.07.14)
So why are we surprised that she is trying to make laws that will damage Israel in an already hostile world? There is no doubt that MK Regev, had she been British, would be a member of the British National Party, in France Marie Le Penn would love to have her and maybe even the Golden Dawn Party in Greece.
2. Miri Regev is not a "yes" person. For what it is worth,
miri ,   israel   (01.07.14)
I am with you all the way....
3. We need many more "Thorns" like her
NotEnoughThorns ,   Jerusalem Israel   (01.07.14)
4. Miri R; I love her and her Bills. Tie
DT ,   TA Israel   (01.07.14)
PM's hands good and tight on the "Peace" issue
5. Thorn in Netanyahu's side ????
Michael ,   Haifa   (01.07.14)
Much too polite !!! Right wing ruffians prefer the phraseology " shrapnel in the butt"
6. #1 - You Misquoted MK Regev
Chaim T. ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (01.07.14)
She never called black people a "cancer". She called the illegal immigrants a cancer. It's YOUR assumption of racism here. Ilegal immigration is a cancer, and the illegal immigrants from Sudan and Eritrea, here in Israel are a cancer. It has nothing to do with race. You leftists always try to use the race card. Give up your stupid games already. We see through your retoric!
7. Long Live Miri Regev!!
Chaim T. ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (01.07.14)
8. Attenion Number 1
MeyerofNYC ,   Ganei Modiin, IL   (01.07.14)
Correction: She did not call black people a cancer she referred to so called Sudanese Asylum seekers as such. There is a difference. Quoting out of context or misquoting for divisive or self serving purposes fools nobody.
9. Miri Regev is right and Israels hope !
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (01.07.14)
10. Bibi needs to be in the middle
Zionist forever   (01.07.14)
Miri Regev is to far right to work with effectively and Livni is to far left. The PM does not have the luxury of pushing his personal ideology to far because he has to deal with the rest of the world so needs to take a more centrist position Miri Regev, Livni, Lieberman they are all troublesome because they make it harder for him to be centerist
11. Threshold IQ for MKs
Anon ,   Israel   (01.07.14)
............and that would be the end of Miri Regev.
12. Moshe Feiglin as Prime Minister & Miri Regev as President!
Robert Blum ,   New Albany, USA   (01.07.14)
This would be an excellent combination for Israel! Send Livni & Peres, the 2 myopic, self serving Leftist destroyers of Israel to Gaza, where both Arafat's and Peres's Nobel Peace Prizes might have at least some superficial meaning. With any good luck, many of their leftist supporters will follow them there for permanent re-location in their utopia, even if only beneath the ground.
13. Israel is about to be disemboweled and all Bibi cares about
Samuel ,   Jerusalem   (01.07.14)
is that he won't be embarrassed???? His NARCISSISM is showing in full force. Thank GOD for sensible people like Regev. Where are the rest of them?
14. We need Miri as prime minister!
Reuven   (01.07.14)
15. MK Regev
RayS ,   NH,USA   (01.07.14)
It is a good thing there is an MK Regev . Someone needs to defend Israel from making terrible decisions.
16. Talking about thorns, read Numb. 33:55
Johannes ,   Norway   (01.07.14)
17. #6 Me a Leftists? These people MUST go home!
Jim Yakamoto ,   My Country   (01.07.14)
And its your right wing government that let them in in the first place! Ask MK Yishai why Border Controls failed. These people should not be here and the should not be called a cancer or would you approve of some of the words used against Jews today? As for your "Leftist" allegation, please ask your MK Regev why the hell is she going on about the illegals while her voters employ Palestinians who are trying to destroy our country? Illegals and Palestinians OUT NOW!
18. In Support of Miri Regev
Ross Gallen ,   Henderson, USA   (01.07.14)
Miri Regev is a nationalist in the best sense of tradition. She speaks for the vast majority of Jewish people who are fed up with the see-saw wars and politics brought on by the leftist mentality of always wanting to look good in a political sense to whatever American President has been in power in the last 25 years. She rightfully speaks for Israel and, not the political position of Kerry who is merely a tool of the Obama administration. She enjoys great respect here in the United States for her straight positions and recognition of what is in the best interest of the Jewish people. She says what she believes without fear of criticism from people who want political correctness above security. Ynet is not only wrong to demean her position but should print an op.ed. that is at minimal even handed so that its readers can see the entire picture of what is happening, not merely the view from the appeasers on the left.
19. The rule of law.
michael ,   israel   (01.07.14)
Illegal migrants are not cancer, they are a malignancy that must be removed. In order for israel to be a law abiding state that respect the rule of law.
20. Miri Regev did not call anyone a "cancer".
Jake   (01.07.14)
She referred to the PHENOMENON of illegal infiltration/migration into Israel as a cancer. She did not call migrants, blacks, or anyone a "cancer".
21. Honor Likud Constitution or leave Likud.
Chaim ,   Israel   (01.08.14)
Likud's Constitution is vehemently right wing and patriotic. MK Regev honors it. Anyone who does not has no business in the party. The opinion of nonentities like Livni is irrelevant.
22. Scupper or scuttle?
Scott Sorensen ,   Yorba Linda, CA USA   (01.08.14)
"Scupper" or "scuttle"? A "scupper" is a ship's deck drain hole often made through the gunwale or side of the ship. To "scuttle" a ship is to hole its hull thus letting in sea water until the ship sinks! Let's hope that Netanyahu will "scuttle" these so-called 'peach talks'!
23. #6 Regev was not referring to illegal immigrants
Samuel ,   Melbourne   (01.09.14)
Her response to the controversy surrounding her comments: "When I compared the migrant worker phenomenon to cancer I was referring to the way the phenomenon had spread, and not anything else," We can all refer to things we don't like as 'cancer'. Just like you've done with illegal immigrants. But I think that you can come up with better term. One less offensive perhaps.
