it is noteworthy that the two most significant spying operations in the us (manning and snowden) occurred during the obama administration. even if the next revelations help israel, a big if, the question remains who is behind snowden. who persuaded and who planned this young, uneducated man's successful theft of the largest top secret data from the nsa in us history. who told him what material to steal? how come no one noticed the theft at any point? why was this man, with no formal education, hired by the cia, and why was he hired by the nsa once he was fired by the cia? how was this man able to plan his escape with four computers, containing entire libraries worth of top secret data, without arousing any suspicion whatever? the obama administration's known incompetence and irresponsibility do not fully explain the matter.

CJK, unless you have been on the inside or know one of its honest employees, you simply would not believe the incompetence of the US federal civilian government. Some agencies work well, some barely function. Morale at many is dismal. Managers (GS 12/13 and up) get up by kissing butt and throwing everyone else under the bus. This whole matter may look orchestrated but to conscientious federal employees it looks like business as usual, with the exception that this story has global implications and went viral. The NSA analysts reading this are nodding their heads.

They know how to hide their own activities and they use the same built-in weaknesses that NSA uses to spy.
