Ready top throw stones, burn trash and hurl dirty diapers. What are these useless people all about.? Do they have one redeeming quality?
3. The sane ppl of Israel waiting for the police
Cohen,Israel   (01.09.14)
to start treating them the same they treat rioting Arabs- Where are the rubber bullets and raiding their homes to arrest them......???? Time to take off the gloves, or they will bring this country down.
4. Why are the police shutting the gates to the cemetery?
Gil ,   Afula   (01.09.14)
Are they scared that Rabbi Ovadia Yosef will come and take revenge at the secular government?

A Jerusalemite ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (01.09.14)
It is not the police that decide the cemeteries hours. They were called because these violent haridi demonstrators broke the gates.
6. Why close the gate
Dan ,   K"S   (01.09.14)
There are many cemeteries that have foot access all nighht, but almost none permit cars o enter. Harhamenuchot is a cemetery that almost requires access to vehicles due to both the large size and steep paths and roads. Who verifies that people have actually exited the cemetery before the gates close. If my car breaks down, I would not be able to reach the gate in less than 2 hours. Even using a helicopter, they cannot kknow that people are not in the cemetery since there are leveled burials.
7. Clashes among Jews must be avoided..
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (01.09.14)
Enough division already ! This matter must be settled amicably by the chief Rabbi and the Mayor of Jerusalem.. Divided we fall, united we stand.
8. And you're sure, they are really our bros???
Zeev   (01.09.14)
I dont think so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
9. What would HaRav Ovadya have to say about this behavior?
Aviela ,   Migron RC, Israel   (01.09.14)
Somehow I think he'd work out a quieter way of dealing with the situation, as well as have some choice things to say to people throwing stones at the police. But I'm just guessing.
10. I can see what's coming
Scarborough1414 ,   Scarborough, ON, CAN   (01.09.14)
The Hareidim are spoiled brats. They don't get what they want so they riot and break things. I've suggested stronger measures against them and I get shouted down, both here and on other related sites (no names please, we're Jewish). Either we break them of this attitude of entitlement by any means necessary, or we end up with them taking over and being their slaves. It's as simple as that. Ever since the Na'amah Margolies incident in Beit Shemesh about 2 years ago, I've seen the Hareidim (the bad ones) get bolder and bolder. This nonsense will not end until we show them who's boss. Don't come crying to me a few years from now when they have turned the seculars and modern Orthodox into slaves.
11. Divide and conquer
YingYang ,   UK   (01.09.14)
Not surprised to see the usual Haredim bashing comments present on this article. The fact is that the Haredim had no right to start damaging property just because they disagreed with the opening hours. This is not how a civilised people should act. However there is a growing undercurrent of racism against Haredim that is not justifiable. Labelling all Haredim as useless is racist, no matter how you look at it. Do not let politicians with their own agenda's divide Jews in their homeland. There is no such thing as ultra-Orthodox Jews, all practising Jews worship the same G-d! they just differ in how they do so. How can you sit by and let fellow Jews be slandered in such a way. Anti-semetism comes in many forms, do not let those ignorant people divide the beautiful children of Israel by how they worship the same G-d.
12. Big cemetery Vehicle/by foot access Spendthenight locked in
Martin SA   (01.09.14)
Big cemetery Vehicle /by foot access Spend the night locked in? away from family and with no security. This problem needs to be sorted out. If the gate was broken it was because people were locked. The supervisor want to knock off so he locks the gate. It dark early its winter etc come let the police / idf have the patience to assess the problem before they take action. Those whom are so critical should apologise before they bash the Haredim especially at a cemetery.
13. Haredi bringing curses on poor R.Yousef
(01.09.14)
these people lacking in thought and consideration cause much disrespect to the dead man

ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (01.09.14)
the same fear:"or we break the Jews by any means necessary ,or we end up with them taking over and being their slaves." Don't come crying to me when,as it happened in Europe ,Arabs filled the void left by the Jews they broke, Don't wonder if you will have to follow the Sharia laws in Israel,"has vehalila" Live and let live. Secular Jews and Haredim complete each other in Israel. Israel needs the Haredim to keep her Jewish identity.
16. Who needs THOSE charedim who riot ?
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (01.09.14)
Where are their rabbanim who condemn this violence ? If they don't condemn , do they agree with this behavior ? Live and let live ? do they let others live ? What do we , seculars , have in common with those guys ? Is violence their religion ? are this the "higher standards" they claim to receive at their , inutile , yeshivot ?
17. 7 , Ora . Tell it to those charedfim !
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (01.09.14)
It are THEY who use violence , not normal Israeli Jews
18. 16 Charles,"inutile yeshivot"?
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (01.09.14)
That's an offense ! First learn to express your thinking without insulting if you want to discuss with me .
19. Ora , 18 . My # 16 was not adressed at you .
