1. Peace Now ...
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.09.14)
... should be dismantled, and its members given one-way tickets to Gaza. I think a little first-hand knowledge of what they protect and defend would be a good thing.
2. " PIECE" is different from PEACE ! !
moshe ,   Tivon, Israel   (01.09.14)
Piece Now at any cost: brings WAR LATER ! "Piece" is different from "Peace". Peace Now org and its advocates don't distinguish. All Israelis want peace. Some Israelis died so that we can survive...something that we should ALL remember. moshe
3. Sarah B
Kobi ,   Israel   (01.09.14)
Americans like you should stop encouraging right wing fanaticism in Israel. People like you send the message to our government that what is done in the occupied territories is somehow justified. Grow up and learn some empathy.
4. Peace Now is a Terrorist Group of anti-Semites
Ari ,   Haifa   (01.09.14)
5. #1 Lack of principles?
Daniel   (01.09.14)
Sarah, wasn't it you who defended removing Bedouins from non-authorized buildings? So make up your mind, should the government remove citizens from illegal buildings or not? Or wait, let me guess. Your answer is probably that it depends on the race of the citizens in the building. Showing again what a bigot racist you are.

No Hamas, Know Peace

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.09.14)
The Bedouins erected ramshackle tents and moved in together with their livestock, creating an obvious health hazard. They also illegally tapped into Israel's water carrier network and electrical grid -- equally hazardous. Race or ethnicity has absolutely nothing to do with it. Besides, Judea and Samaria are not "occupied." Historically a part of Israel, made Judenrein by Jordan in 1948, and restored to its rightful owners in June 1967. If you are so fond of Arabs, why not move to Ramallah? You'd have a shelf life of about three minutes, but that's not such a bad thing.

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.09.14)
Why on earth would I want to emulate an Arab? Besides, I have absolutely no interest in cheating an insurance company or in destroying my own property and blaming it on others. A time-honored Arab ploy that fools no one -- except perhaps you and other like-minded imbeciles.

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.09.14)
Sorry; I have no empathy for a terrorist rabble that seeks the destruction of the State of Israel. I think it is shameful that you do, but you probably just don't know any better. You do not strike me as particularly intelligent or learned.
11. For the last 10+ years daily I've been reading
Longtime onlooker   (01.09.14)
the Israeli news sites. Trying to understand, separation fact from propaganda. I've come to truly believe jews do not want peace. Every zionist leader from Hertzl to Netanyahu has stated as a goal to rid israel from all non-jews by whatever means they could get away with. Israel when negotiation uses the tenets of Kol Nedri, that is nothing is binding: promise, vow, oath, treaty, etc.
12. #5 Good point. The highly praised "jewish

building in the Palestinian territories is illegal."
14. #5 Daniel: Yes ALL "illegals" should be removed!
Israeli ,   The Galilee, Israel   (01.09.14)
That includes the settlers in the illegal settlements as laid down by the Supreme Court, the illegals who taking the jobs of Israelis calling themselves "refugees" and basically giving hotels and restaurants golden opportunity to pay wages below the minimum wage. Lastly, the Government should deport every Palestinian working in Israel illegally (what country allows people to work and additionally work to destroy that country) so we don't have more of our people butchered while they dozed off on a bus!

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.09.14)
What's your take on the rules of war and military engagement? Seems to me that the outliers and illegal occupants in Judea and Samaria are the Arabs. Your knowledge of international law is -- well -- nonexistent. Get an education.

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.09.14)
Hate to interfere with your psychotic episode, but I do wish to point out that the Arabs started all six of Israel's wars. They lost. Cry me a river. Okay -- feel free to resume your break with reality at any time.
17. To: No. 13
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.09.14)
Which international law? Judea and Samaria are nonsovereign territories, not "Palestinian." They were reacquired by the State of Israel in the course of a defensive war with Jordan in which Israel prevailed. That is the law that governs, sluggo.
18. Settler "price tag" attacks on GIs will turn US against Jews

Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (01.09.14)
It takes a special kind of idiot to expect Sarah B. or anyone else to emphasize with a group that won't recognize your country or right to exist and who only wants to kill all of you. You left wingers need to grow a brain and view the world with logic and not just emotions.
20. #12 Absolutely right
Daniel   (01.09.14)
Yes, unfortunately Sarah always comes across as racist filled with hate. I often wonder if "Sarah" isn't an anti-semitic troll who goes on the Internet to give normal Jews a bad name. Every post she writes is filled with the same vile racism as in the 30s. That's not what Israel is, Israel is a great country whose people dislike all forms of racism.
21. peace now must be dismantled now
zionist forever   (01.09.14)
22. #17 of settlements and ham sandwiches
On the Balcony   (01.09.14)
You are free to support the settlements just as you are free to eat ham sandwiches but nothing you can say will make either kosher under the relevant laws. The acquisition of territory by the use of military force is a violation of contemporary international law. Neither the status of the territory nor nature of the war change this. So says the nations of the world and the institutions that they have created to create, interpret and apply international law including the UN Security Council, ICRC, High Parties to the Geneva Convention and the International Court of Justice, etc., all of whom have examined the settlement issue and have unanimously condemned the settlements as, in the words of UN Security Council R465, a "flagrant violation" of international law. Read former Israeli legal adviser Theodor Meron's now declassified 1967 legal memo prepared at the GoI's request which concluded that building civilian settlements in the newly occupied territories would violate the Geneva Convention. Theodor Meron is now a Judge with the International Criminal Court --go try to convince him that your ham is kosher.
23. Israel must dismantle Pieces Now
Chaim ,   Israel   (01.09.14)
After decades of blatant treachery, it is way past time for treason charges and massive suits against evil Pieces Now.
24. Piece now

Oppeinheimer piece now, Esh Kodesh will destroy you very soon......... and no one will miss you.
25. # 3 Kobi don't you belong in Japan?
BUILD BABY BUILD ,   United States   (01.09.14)
The Japanese have the right idea no muslims allowed in Japan. Left wing nut jobs like you should be silent or get educated. Empathy isn't included in the terrorists pal manual. If you empathize with the pals so much leave ISrael. Jews, like most of the rest of sane people hate the #$%^&*()- pals.
26. Fukestinian attacks on US GIs will turn Americans against

28. Ain't happenin'!
manicdrummer ,   Haifa, Israel   (01.09.14)
Israel should continue to build settlements regardless. Peace Now has no right whatsoever to tell Jews that they can't live in their own country. The Arabs never wanted peace and shall enjoy no entitlement to any land in Israel on either side of the Green Line.
29. To: No. 20
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.09.14)
Would you mind explaining what you think is "racist" about wishing to neutralize the enmity of those who wish to destroy you? While you're at it, please explain to me what benefit exists in rewriting the rules of military engagement in such a way as to bestow victory upon those who started -- and lost -- six wars. I realize that you are intellectually challenged and lack the ability to posit a coherent and logical argument, but give it your best shot. I'll find a third-grader who can explain your reasoning.
30. #17 mutard for the ham sandwich
On the Balcony   (01.09.14)
And lest you reflexively dismiss the rest of the world's interpretation of international law as anti-Semitism, bear in mind that the first jurist known to have made this observation was, of course, a Jew and a legal advisor to the Israeli Government to boot. The same Theodor Meron mentioned in my previous posts. In his long classified secret memo, Meron. (later Israeli's Ambassador to the United Nations in Geneva) also suggested various ways in which Israel could circumvent the law . His suggestions were carefully followed by the Israeli government until it found a few sympathetic Zionist Jurists to "kosher the pig" by crafting a tendentious argument that allowed Israel to pretend that the territory taken in 1967 was "disputed" not "occupied." The only people who accept that argument are people who really need no such argument. Like you, they are hungry enough to pretend that their pig and their pig alone is kosher.
