Hila   (01.12.14)
32. No Hamas, Know Peace
emanon ,   USA   (01.12.14)
33. abbas, savior of israel
israeli paratrooper   (01.12.14)
abbas has once again engaged in that great palestinian trait , missing an opportunity . with israel under great pressure to concede only such psychotic remarks could save israel . abbas ( bless his soul ) gave israel just what it needed to ignore international pressure . blessed be abbas and the memory of arafat . israel is needed lucky to have such opponents
34. No peace means maimings and killings.
Roland ,   London England   (01.12.14)
.We have been kidding ourselves that he will show flexibility ..He has never expressed remorse at Jewish suffering. We have released his killers, and acted stupidly for what purpose ?Those that represent the citizens of Israel must face up to these facts. It is time to cease negotiations for now is the time that .we dictated the terms
35. Actually, the status quo is best for all parties
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (01.12.14)
Maybe the US ought to get it's fat behind out of the mix.
36. We mean it...He is talking on our behalf
Shadi ,   Palestine   (01.12.14)
East Jerusalem to revert to its Arab Palestinian character or there will be a one state solution. This is not a threat but a fact. I wish more Israelis see this rationally.
37. Abbas said nothing about refugees. That's the key.
Sam ,   Canada   (01.12.14)
The key is whether Palestinians will accept a Jewish majority Israel or look for excuses to overturn it. Palestinian leaders are afraid to pronounce themselves on this issue and it's here that they are always trying to fool Jews and the West.
38. What Barack Obama said in 2008...
Quintius ,   Canada   (01.12.14)
"Jerusalem will remain the capital of Israel, and it must remain undivided."
39. NO PEACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(01.12.14)
40. It's vindictive, and he has no right to demand
Meier ,   Texas   (01.12.14)
Abbas does this to deny Jewish rights to Jerusalem and to the land of Israel. The green line is nothing more than a armistice line that kept them from being overun. In 1967 they lost even more territory for a state they originally rejected. They don't get to dictate terms!
41. Yay,
(01.12.14)
I love it, great news. I knew Abbas was faking peace all along. Yella, let's tell Kerry & co to go fly their kites. Have a great week Israel.
42. No Jerusalem, no peace
Bin Laden ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (01.12.14)
Then let there be no peace.
43. Yerushalayim
Steve Goodman ,   Israel   (01.12.14)
Finally I have heard a palistinian make a statement that I completely agree with.......now let us see what part of "NO" kerry and obummah do not understand.......and what outrageous requests will be asked of our government......
44. #3 That's settled, can you stop freeing terrorsts!
Lemmings Hotline ,   sd usa   (01.12.14)
45. Read this month National Geographic mag about the holly land
JJJ   (01.12.14)
Read this month National Geographic magazine about the holly land you will be able to see with you own eyes a graphs that points how long before Islam was invented Jerusalem was the capital of the Jewish people. and the holly land the land of the Jews. I would say to Habas and the Palestinians go fly a kite ( and I am polite here). As we all know you Arabs/Muslims lie about your history in the land of Israel as a matter of fact check the Arabs/Muslims in the neighborhood and you can hear them lying to each others, and to the world in a straight face. The lies are so numerous that it will take many set of books to document them all
46. peace
Rami ,   Jerusalem   (01.12.14)
once Israelis wake up and understand that the Palestinians who live here has all of these rights then peace could be a real and negotiation will be very easy to reach a serious, strategics realistic agreement that benefits both sides.
47. Pals kneel, sure enough, because of jerks at the helm
Tarbouche ,   Aswan   (01.12.14)
It would be an insult to the State of Israel to be recognised by an insignificant part of an inferior culture that is steeped in death and violence
48. That's fine with us!
Mira ,   Vienna   (01.12.14)
"peace" as you understand it is of no value anyway!
49. A Kingdom
Adam Neira ,   Di Zahav, Egypt   (01.12.14)
If the correct command and control structure for the Holy Land is established all parties will benefit. The current GDP of the following areas : Jerusalem; The State of Israel; Judea and Samaria/The West Bank; Gaza; Lebanon; Syria; Jordan; Egypt and Saudi Arabia is approx. $1.6 Trillion. This can easily grow by at least 5% p.a. from 2015 if the right moves are made from here on in. People must think "Win-Win".
50. hardline
rm ,   NL Amsterdam   (01.12.14)
After one hardline Israeli statement after another it was only to be expected that Abbas would return the favor and sure enough he did....
51. :)
Avraham ,   RSA   (01.12.14)
So be it!!
52. Jerusalem
Sherlock Holmes ,   London England   (01.12.14)
By 1850 Jerusalem had a Jewish majority population. The idea of cutting Jerusalem in pieces is very recent -- and would be a security nightmare for Israel. Also, what if most East Jerusalem Arabs prefer to remain part of Israel?
53. Um El Fahem = East Jerusalem, all want to live under Israel
Nethanel ,   Jerusalem   (01.12.14)
The last poll revealed that at least 40% of East Jerusalem Arabs prefer Israel to the PA. They would move even westwards once the PA takes over. They know why. There is no Freedom of Speech, journalists are in prisons.
54. So call Ramallah or Amman, East Jerusalem
Lawrence ,   Raanana   (01.12.14)
I really do not care
55. To: No. 50
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.12.14)
The difference is that Israel holds all the trump cards and has emerged the victor in six wars in which the Arabs were the aggressors. Abbas is not in a position to make demands, nor is he in a position to issue threats. That is simply inappropriate, if you believe that he really wants peace. There is no peace with terrorists. Israel should force peace, on its own terms. If Abbas doesn't like it -- well, too bad. Time to annex Judea and Samaria and send that terrorist rabble packing. They are not interested in peace, and now everyone knows it.
56. Abbas no less radical than Liberman, Bennett
On the Balcony   (01.12.14)
57. Should have taken the lease
Matt   (01.12.14)
Now you only get aspirations. Instead of a legal document of a long term lease. By signing it via the wording you recognize Israel as a Jewish state without actually saying. How can one talk Bibi into a lease because in 25 years a Palestinian state would have failed and or Hamas will have taken over the WB.
