1. And Pollard gets life?
Steve ,   Atlanta USA   (01.15.14)
2. Risky Business
Walid Haddad ,   Beirut, Lebanon   (01.15.14)
That's the fatal mistake committed by the developed western countries, when they take in Muslims and other immigrants into their societies and allow them access to their sensitive institutions, just to be politically correct.
3. i would have
daniela ,   panama   (01.15.14)
I would have expected at least the same sentence given to pollard. Or the teft of an airplane that has cost so much to develop and in which great part of the US security will be based is worth less than whatever pollard has given to Israel. It seems to me that it pays more to spy for an enemy that have said :Death to america!than to a nation considered to be an ally.
4. Lies, lies, lies.
imilinko ,   bs   (01.15.14)
I bet that the Iranians told this guy: "If the Americans discover you, tell them you planed to send them to Israel." So everything happens, all blame Israel. Typical to Iranians.
5. So ....
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.15.14)
Following his prison sentence, denaturalize him and send him home to Iran.
6. reverse engineering
Shmuel. L. Jackson ,   London UK   (01.15.14)
So iran will soon reverse engineer this plane, as they did with the drone they hacked. Meanwhile, the spy gets 10 years, while Pollard serves a life term
7. 10 years in jail?
frauss ,   Jerusalem   (01.15.14)
This is worse than Pollard. Why such a short jail term?
8. #7 the crime
(01.15.14)
Khazaee critically damaged US security and economic interests so he gets maximum 10 years. Pollards crime was far worse: he was a Jew.
9. #7
Clive ,   London   (01.15.14)
Because he's not Jewish..
10. Probably
Marian ,   Romania   (01.15.14)
probably they helped him to get the documentation in order to create a stronger shia block in the coming new cold war between a north part consisting of Syria, Iraq and Iran and a southern sunni block which is now stronger.... and it didn't work properly ... next time !
11. Don't worry ...
Mike ,   NZ   (01.15.14)
These planes have a lousy safety record anyway ... so if the Iranians want them let them have them ...meanwhile the Israelis will take them apart, fix the problems, and reassemble them and turn them into super fighter jets . . . meanwhile Pollard sits in prison . . a pawn in a disgusting game of politics.
12. I have a ?
sheik rattle & roll ,   USA   (01.15.14)
Why are Israeli citizens and politicians so obsessed with an American born and raised citizen that was employed by the US Navy that was entrusted with US secrets? Is it because of his religion? Pollard is a traitor that will rot in an American jail for his crimes against his homeland. No amount of lobbying or petitions by a foreign government will set this American born, American employed, American prisoner free into the hands of a foreign government regardless of his post conviction status for treason. So keep on dreaming about his release and I will keep on stating reality.
13. All you pinheads comparing this dude to Pollard ,...
split ,   US   (01.16.14)
He didn't work for government agency as intelligence analyst, didn't take an oath. Didn't steal government secrets - That's all you can do is pin on him nothing more than industrial spying. By the way one of your homies, US citizen Ben-Ami Kadish (another spy for Israel) active concurrent to Pollard's activity due to advanced age and infirmity got away unpunished.
14. Not robbery. Treason.
Barak ,   Tel Aviv   (01.16.14)
As a criminal prosecutor I can confidently say that if this article is correct, they're charging him with the wrong crime. 10 years is the maximum because they're charging him for moving stolen goods over state lines. 10 years is the maximum because the idea is to charge people who steal cars and drive those over state lines. This was a defense contractor who stole American military secrets for the enemy. The crime is treason. The punishment is execution.
15. Us jailed Pollard but they are the bigest
Canadian Citizen   (01.16.14)
Spies and providing all Israel secrets.
16. To: No. 13
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.16.14)
Actually, pinhead, civilian employees are not required to take oaths, even if they are employed by a United States government agency. On the other hand, a naturalized United States citizen IS required to take an oath of loyalty to the United States of America.
17. Sounds like an israeli thing.
Jonathan pollard   (01.16.14)
18. Better Iran, then israel.
US Taxpayer   (01.16.14)

split ,   US   (01.16.14)
... working for government intel gathering agency are required to sign an agreement (known as Standard Form 312) a condition of employment ,... This dude wasn't a gov. employee or even an employee of a subcontractor working fo government like Snowden. I repeat that's all they can pin on him it's an industrial espionage and wait for a slap on the wrist ,...
