Perhaps I have missed this one, but has the Lebanese government or even the terrorist org Hezbollah signed a peace agreement with Israel. ?? So Israel would be negligent if it was not using every means possible to find out what they are up to. Or maybe it reflects that Iran has given Hezbollah the green light to increase tension as they have found the West and specifically Obama weak regarding the Nuclear issue. War with Lebanon becomes much more likely every time Obama show his ineffectual foreign policy.

Israel leads the world in technological advancements, especially in IT and intelligence gathering. That's for the remote aspect. Israel has plenty of boots on the ground in Lebanon, too. Eagles? Cameras? I don't think so.

Southern Lebanon is controlled by Hezbollah. Hezbollah is also part of the Lebanese government. Hezbollah has also declared itself to be "at war" with Israel. Do the math, sluggo. Israel has a right to self-defense. But I assure you that these primitive devices are not in use by Israel. Israel has better ways to collect intelligence.
