Every street should be lined with Israeli citizens carrying Israeli & Canadian flags and singing the Canadian anthem to show our respect to Israel's only real friend in the world. May G-d give him many more healthy years.

Hope the Canadian PM gets to perform with this professional duo. Their English is perfect which is so rare here in Israel. Their accent too is perfect. What a great threesome they would make
10. Welcome to Israel
Tamara ,   Ramat Gan, Israel   (01.20.14)
As a Canadian who made Aliyah to Israel approximately one year ago, welcome to Israel Mr. Harper! We are so proud of you!
11. We should sign deals with Canada
Israeli   (01.20.14)
Canada and Israel can cooperate in energy, water, high tech and other sectors. It is preferable to sign deals with a friendly country like Canada, and not with anti-Israeli countries such as the UK and Norway.
12. This is a good day for Canada.
DemocracyRules ,   Canada   (01.20.14)
Canada and Israel have many strategic interests in common. We both need to maximize our science and technology capabilities. In war and peace we cannot afford to be second-rate. More could be done on joint military projects, including aircraft and UAV design, hybrid jet engines, long-range missiles, and digital control systems. Both Israel and Canada have acquired substantial expertise in peacekeeping, peace-making, and progress in the conversion of anarchical insurrections into workable political solutions. Much more knowledge is needed, and we could learn a lot from each other. Above all are the petroleum development opportunities. Canada has massive experience in unconventional oil development, fracking technologies, offshore petroleum, and pipeline engineering, all done in harsh environments. Israel has substantial undeveloped petroleum reserves, both offshore and onshore. There are approximately 250 billion barrels of shale oil in the recently discovered Shfela Basin southwest of Jerusalem.

One last grasp of the brass ring before their career is over red rover.
