1. Kuschitzky is dead wrong!
Cowboy Joe ,   Calgary, Canada   (01.22.14)
The stand that Canada is taking is because of the ideology of Harper and his cabinet ministers. The other parties, if they rose to power, would not be nearly as pro-Israel as is the Harper government. I am a Calgarian as is Harper, in fact his home in Calgary is about two blocks away from mine. Who is this Kuschitzky anyway? The proof that I am right and not Kuschitzky is shown by examining the stance that Canada has taken before Harper got into power and now. Don't you see a sea change?
2. steve Harper
G pike ,   Canada   (01.22.14)
Some of the statements in this article are not correct. Harper is not as popular in Canada as some here might think. There are police investigations ongoing in Canada around allegations of electoral fraud involving Harper and his Conservative party. Harper got his 'majority' with just 24.6% of the electorate casting a vote for him and his party. They are the only party in the history of the Westminister ParlimentaryGovernments to be convicted of Contempt of Parliament. An article I read in another israel newspaper said that Harpers Minister Kenny stated that no one would heckle a leader speaking in Canada's parliament, it seems he's forgotten when his own fellow minister Rob Anders actually heckled Nelson Mandela in Canada's House of Commons calling him a terrorist! You would be doing your readers a service by perusing some Canadian newspapers to gain a better perspective on the character of whom you write. Thank you.
3. Splitting Jews in Canada
(01.22.14)
Mr. Harper is doing a wonderful job of also dividing the Jewish community here in Canada into two camps which is a very scary thing. When one of his MP's at the Kotel yesterday wanted to take the "million dollar shot" with the PM at the Kotel for his "re-election campaign", then you know where the idea of this trip originated.
