1. May The One Who Makes Peace In The Heavens
David H ,   Marietta USA   (01.27.14)
Send peace to all who mourn, and let us say, Amen. Am Yisrael Chai! The People of Israel live.
2. Evidently ....
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.27.14)
... Tibi and Zoabi did not make the trip. Perfectly willing to travel to Libya (in defiance of Israeli law) and kneel at the feet of a common, garden-variety thug, but unwilling to visit the scar upon the heart of the country in whose government they serve. Not particularly surprising ... but shameful nonetheless.
3. How many Arab MK's took part?
Sherlock Holmes ,   London England   (01.27.14)
4. Where are the Arabs? Where are the Moslems?
Reuven Brauner ,   Raanana, Israel   (01.27.14)
Did they come to these commemorations? Have they learned the lessons of the Holocaust? Are they committed to wiping out anti-Semitism in their worlds and culture?
5. No 1 am Israel chai....
(01.27.14)

6. THESE MK's GET A FREE RIDE TO A HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL
stude ham   (01.27.14)
entirely at the tax payer expense... while in ramat gan the few remaining Holocaust survivors are forced to pay to attend a Holocaust memorial service. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ISRAEL???
7. Yawn...
Darren Ben John ,   Townsville Australia   (01.27.14)
I hope the Israelis remember the thousands of innocent Palestinians murdered with punity
8. Maybe
Darren Ben Johnt ,   Townsville Australia   (01.27.14)
Someone should open a theme park there!
9. Evidently - Sarah correct again
Claude ,   London & Cape Town   (01.27.14)
The two MK's make a grave mistake By ignoring the importance of Shoah to Jews in IL and wider diaspora they make it harder for our communities to even consider the legitimacy of their claim to Palestininan suffering and displacement. This is why BDS and so much of the Palestinian Support movement has failed to galvanise support in the same way that the Anti Apartheid movement did. Palestinians and too many of their supporters are too indifferent , too steeped in anti Semetic rhetoric to be taken seriously outside a small community of radical Islamists and their far left supporters. A poisonous concoction of hate and childish indulgence that is failing to attract much public support. I remember how the AAM was so steadfast in rejecting anti white rhetoric, recognising the Afrikaaner history and language was a major reason they succeeded in attracting wider support . The snub by these MK'S will do little to advance their cause or reputation in a Europe that is increasingly hostile to anything arab or Islamic. Stupid, inept and counterproductive , but it's what we expect
10. Holocaust denial, Nakba denial, same thing, racist haters
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (01.27.14)
11. 8M killed in Poland, 4M Jews, 3M Poles, 1M Russians, others
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (01.27.14)
"Approximately six million Polish citizens died between 1939 and 1945; an estimated 4,900,000 to 5,700,000 were killed by German forces and 150,000 to one million by Soviet forces. During World War II, Jews in Poland suffered the worst percentage loss of life compared to all other national and ethnic groups. The vast majority were civilians. On average, 2,800 Polish citizens died per day during its occupation. Poland's professional classes suffered higher than average casualties with doctors (45%), lawyers (57%), university professors (40%), technicians (30%), clergy (18%) and many journalists.[2] It was not only Polish citizens who died at the hands of the occupying powers but many others. Tadeusz Piotrowski estimates that two million people belonging to fifty different nationalities from 29 countries were exterminated by the Germans in occupied Poland. This includes one million foreign Jews transported from across Europe to die in the Nazi extermination camps on Polish soil, along with 784,000 Soviet and 22,000 Italian POWs.""
12. Darren Ben John Proves my point @9
Claude ,   London and Cape Town   (01.27.14)
Your short comment proves my point. The inability and unwillingness for the PSC, BDS and hangers on to accept the immense scale of Shoah tragedy, it's repercussions amongst Jews worldwide means that you are incapable of being a true supporter or voice for Palestinians. A while back you suggested that Australia treated its aboriginal people's better than how Palestinians in IL or WB are treated. The renowned Australian journalist and campaigner for human rights would probably disagree, and he is a formidable critic of IL.
13. herzog and the holocaust visit
marv   (01.27.14)
herzog says lesson of the holocaust is for israel to rely on itself. So what does he advocate:give up strategic hills of judea and samaria to westbankstan, and give up the jordan valley to gutless european troops, and to rely on US President to save poor isreal. What an ignorant fool, just like olmert, livni, micheal oren, peres and merridor-all dumb like hell and most of them lawyers. I rest my case
14. Yom ha-Shoah
Oded ,   Atlanta USA   (01.28.14)
On Yom ha-Shoah Israeli Jews should remember what was done to their brethren and not do it to Arabs.
