If there are Israeli's who cannot agree with this attitude of Mr Ya'alon, they'd better start agitating for a new Israeli National Anthem.. Hatikvah isn't for them. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!

3. erekat and livni at munich conference
alexi   (02.02.14)
It is obvious to me that israel leadership is dumb and stupid. There is no other way to say it. Livni who prides herself as some great negotiator, yet she sat sheepishly and submissively as erekat bombared her wiht his phony narrative that he was son a cannaannites preceding israeli statehood. At no point did livni who sat there in a resigned fashion, at no point did she fight hard for an israeli position or claim. She said yes to 2 state, she said yes to palestinian statehood and not much else. She said erekat and her were sitting there and there is also reason to hope. and a piece of paper is better than no piece of paper even though we need something on paper is balanced. She is pathetic and bibi is pathetic for hiring her. She is a rank amateur. She did not fight one instant for an israeli position or claim-nothing! I invite israelis to look at the munich conference videotape of livni. This is your chief negitator!!??
4. "Dwell alone" Jews creating ghetto for themselves, again

7. boycotts of Israel are illegal under United States laws
CJK   (02.02.14)
in the 1970's, the united state adopted two anti-boycott laws. these laws declare that it is a federal criminal offense under u.s. anti-boycott laws for any u.s. person to knowingly participate in another nation's boycotts or embargoes of third countries. these laws specifically prevent u.s. companies, citizens, as well as federal, state or local governments from being used to implement foreign foreign policies of other nations that run counter to u.s. foreign policy. forbidden conduct, inter alia,; 1 agreements to refuse to do business, or refusal to do business, with or in israel or with blacklisted companies. 2 agreements to doscriminate or actual discrimination against persons based on race, religion, sex or national origin.
8. AMERICAN NEGOTIATION INTERVENTION
YONATAN ,   ISRAEL   (02.02.14)
We the people of Israel have long known that when it comes to our survival and best interests, we stand alone. while it is easy for the American government and the EU to make demands and proposals affecting our very existence and security, it will be ourselves that will suffer the ramifications afterwards. We have made numerous concessions in good faith in the past with the Palestinians, only to receive more terror and further demands in it's place. We are aware that the true issue in the peace process isn't a "piece of land", but the entire land of Israel free of Jews. This is the bottom line that must be considered and remembered.
9. And the PA can also get by better
David ,   Shiloh Israel   (02.02.14)
The peace is all about the 'process' and not about the solution. So when others try to impose final terms, they actually upset the peace process, rather than help it. And the truth be known, that's also how it works for the PA, who cannot afford to budge from their own entrenched position.
10. World Trade Organisation prohibits boycotts
CJK   (02.02.14)
the wto prohibits boycotts as contrary to free trade agreements.
11. I've always said the status-quo is as good as it will get

13. you are a 100% right mr ya'alon!
les ,   canada   (02.02.14)
to put it in an other way, Israel can manage only without a deal with them. have they ever kept a deal?
14. Looks like Ya'alon called Abbas' bluff
Mark ,   Lodz, Poland   (02.02.14)
Palestinian recognition of Israel and removal of nasty clauses from their Charter should be a pre-requisite before sitting down for peace talks. We been waiting for these amendments for 20 years..where are they? No amendments mean that the negotiations are nothing more than onanism. Ya'alon is 100% right Furthermore, I'd just love to pop down to Kalabouni in Jaffa for a 'masbaha' right now....and they'd be happy to see me.
15. Israel, moderate Arab states share common enemy – Iran
split ,   US   (02.02.14)
Pathetic !!! Some folks should quit politics and go fishing ,...
16. a missed chance
(02.02.14)
Yaalon should have said the opposite. He should have said that Israel is sick and tired of Arab racism and incitement and that he is ready to help Iran dominate the Arab world and control Mecca in exchange for recognition of Israeli sovereignty over Judea, Samaria, Golan and Jerusalem.
17. The only good deal is no deal at all
BH ,   Iowa   (02.02.14)

24. #18 - What courts?
spyguy ,   seattle usa   (02.03.14)
Most courts in the world either have no jurisdiction or will not care. A sure way to anger local people is to try to sue their local companies. In reality, Israel has NO OPTIONS if individuals, companies or even countries decide to stop trading with Israel. In basic practical terms, no one can be forced to trade with Israel. This is the harsh reality Israelis need to face, either CHANGE Israel's ACTIONS or face retribution. You can rant all you want about how "the world is against Israel" but Israel can not exist in a vacuum and can not ignore the rest of the world. If Israelis want to live on earth they will have to get along with the rest of the humans on earth, one way or another. You may find that harsh and gets you angry, but it is REALITY.
