1. Kosher "Supervisors" are a very bad joke.
miki ,   tampa   (02.03.14)
The new ones will be required to keep regular and recorded hours? The city rabbis won't dream of such a revolutionary idea so why should the members of this new organization do otherwise?. Another "level" of Kashrut" only means more employment opportunities for poorly educated people who could not otherwise find a job. Kashrut supervising companies require organization, office personnel, and service providers all springing from that same pool of individuals who may know their Talmud but have no other skills. And conflict of interest? The parasites currently employed only care for their paycheck, pay them more and they don't stick their nose into any kitchen-why blame the restaurants for a problem generated by the current lot of holy kosher "supervisors"?

13. And as a result : rising in food prices for us too
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (02.04.14)
Let those who want kosher food pay for it , we seculars don't need it . Do the minister and his advisors think that companies can't be bribed ? that their supervisors will not accept some "gifts" to close an eye ?
14. 8 Dovid, are you sure his mother is
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (02.04.14)
not Jewish? Ignorant Jews are not goyim. We must help them,if they ask for it. Insults are Hilul Hashem, and shows lack of convincing arguments . Sorry david, but i think we can make better use of the opportunity that Ynet gives us to spread Tora's values. Have a fine week,Dovid.
15. #10 "Avi Kaduria"
Barry ,   Tel Aviv   (02.04.14)
I highly doubt you have any idea what is required. Actually, my brother, who is a mashgiach for the Eida Chareidis has a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from MIT, and a Master's in Food Science from Texas A&M. I'd send you a copy of his thesis, but I would have to help you with all the big words.
16. 11 Von Braun,i did it more than once
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (02.04.14)
Takes lots of time .
17. 3 Haim.Kosher food in space ...
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (02.04.14)
is most likely.
18. Barry 15 , and with those degrees
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (02.04.14)
all he achieved was to become a mashgiach ? All those "degrees" to earn a low , if not very low , salary ?
19. #18 Charles
Barry ,   Tel Aviv   (02.05.14)
My brother earns royalties off several patents that he licensed several years ago. And as part of his work, he checks the ingredients to make sure that they are fit for human consumption.
20. Barry 19
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (02.06.14)
Still a job below his degrees .
21. 20 Charles,he chose to serve G-D...
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (02.06.14)
not money. And that's above any university degrees.
22. Ora , How do you know this ? Wishful thinking ?
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (02.07.14)
And , with money he can serve G-D too by giving much tsedaka , Not ? And having a job that fits his capabilities , being someone who contribute to Israel's science . שבת שלום
23. 22 Charles,i don't see any reason..
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (02.08.14)
to hurt people,by telling them they could do better .I am quite sure he chose what fits him the best of what was offered to him.
24. 23 , Ora . It's not him , it's his BROTHER !!!
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (02.09.14)
I can't believe that someone will not use his/her capacities at 100 % . He , who can get a better job , can leave this place for someone less qualified . You didn't answer my 22 , as you do more than once . I know why : It's "uit de duim gezogen" or better INVENTED
