John Kerry has been right about so many things in the US middle east foreign policy: Syria, Egypt, Iran. I can't understand why we don't trust his judgement on Israel.

Whatever you call them, Arabs, or Palestinians, rest assured they live in Israel much better and freely than Arabs living under Arab Rule. Jews were treated like $$$$ and under threat, when we lived among them. Wish they have treated Jews only 10% like Israel treating Arabs. Arabs are very happy under Israeli rule

Jerusalem by Jordan had Jordanian citizenship and would have never terrorized the hashemite kingdom of jordan. Likewise the Egyptian and Syrian dictatorship. Well, let us abide by the principles which govern armed conflict and call them what they are -- vanquished aggressors -- and apply the principles which govern what happens to vanquished aggressors. Judea and Samaria -- nonsovereign territories which were acquired by Israel in the course of fighting a defensive war against Jordan -- should be immediately annexed by the State of Israel, and the "Palestinians" residing therein be repatriated to Jordan, country of their citizenship. That is acceptable in the 21st century and, if it is not, may I respectfully suggest that Poland lead the way by restoring East Prussia to Germany; Croatia, by restoring Istria to the Italians; and the United States, by restoring Okinawa to the Japanese (fair bet you didn't know that Okinawa has belonged to the U.S. since Japan's surrender). I don't think Israel should be anyone's crash test dummy. I also don't think that Israel should have to put up with any attempt to set international convention and precedent on its ear. Don't start with Israel. Get the Chinese out of Tibet, and I'll start paying attention. Fair enough?

Your country, America will never sanction Israel. 7 million Israelis are not picking a fight with anyone in your country. No person, no country can force Israel to do something she refuses to do. To answer your question, Spyguy, nothing & I repeat nothing is going to happen. Kerry will return to your country with his tail in between his legs & your Obama will soon be out of the White House. The US would never boycott Israel, however the Europeans will. Obama has a right to distrust Israeli leaders, he sees how they are treating other blacks from Africa.

The Obama administration in general and Kerry in particular believe that the Palestinians will live in peace with Israel if only the right formula can be derived and implemented. But it is the Jews of Israel who will pay the price in blood for the failure of "peace." Not Kerry, not Obama, not you.

boycotts are a criminal offense under united states laws. kerry, rather than threatening israel, should have informed his european allies of this fact and warned them that european companies which do business in the us or with us companies could be criminally sanctioned if they boycott israel.

Kerry is an antisemite.(He's is the one who is pushing Europe to boycott Israel.) The fact that The State Department, S. Rice and Kerry himself are fighting strongly to reject it, It's a proof that He's indeed an antisemite and know that we know it. Not confortable for the Secretary........

Yours is one of the suggested solutions. But I don't think it can work unless Jordan is willing. By the way there are still US bases in Okinawa, but the US has returned the islands to Japan in 1972. I researched it and it is clearly stated in wikipedia and other sources.
