1. Great honor to be an Israeli and represent the country.

I will be watching and hope to not see any signs of religious prejudice in Israeli sportsmen performances. I will be watching for expressions of Israeli national pride, on a par with all the other nations.
2. Shame to Israel and to any democracies to support these game

If you don't like Russia then boycot Russia. No need to punish athletes because of YOUR feelings.
5. I'm a little confused
frank ,   rehovot   (02.07.14)
with the exception of the one, who actually did the army, the other "israelis" are people who, at least in this report, have little of no contact with Israel. Having a mother who was born here and then left at 3 is hardly what I would consider a "connection". They all seem to live and train somewhere else so what is there to be proud of? Frankly the games, since they because outwardly "professional", are a bore and political. But to each their own and if people feel good calling these people Israelis....but there are some who simply don't believe this way....
