However once the outlying settlements are evacuated, land swaps fix the rest of the settlement issue, and the right of return is nuanced into financial compensation the demographic reality will keep Israel a Jewish state. I agree totally with Rube Vogel (16). What on earth has palestinian recognition of Israel as the Jewish State have anything to do with peace and security?! Do we need any nation on earth to recognize who and what we are? It is this pathological lack of national self esteem that Bibi encapsulates that forces him to make this total non-issue a "crucial" part of his agenda, instead of doing what any decent leader would do: to clearly and proudly (and politely of course) announce to the world that Israel has lost all faith in any "Peace Talks" as the Palestinians backed by most of the world, relentlessly demand territorial concessions from Israel which will inevitably lead to more conflict and war. (Indeed it was precisely the territorial configuraton of the Palestinians controlling all the West Bank (with no settlements to block them) and half of Jerusalem that led them to wage a war of extermination and destruction on tiny Israel in June 1967. Israel cannot and will not allow a return to this possibility as it would lead to more bloodshed - for Jews and non-Jews. Palestinians already have their own state in all but name - Jordan. So let the Palestinians living in JOrdan (70% of all the people there!) give King Hussein an ultimatume. Either cahnge the name to Palestine or we will throw you out like many other arab countries have done recently.

The Piece Talks are completely fake. Palestine is fictional. Abbas is a fake with no real power. He is not even legit by the P.A.'s own constitution. The only thing real about these talks is the enormous danger they pose to Israel. The Kerry spoofs are excellent and we need to do more to expose the Piece Talks as the laughing stock they are. Republicans will be able to use these spoofs against the Obama regime in the upcoming midterm elections and in 2016. We need to make it clear to the Obama Regime that it can only lose with these Piece Talks.
