- Hatred about jewish subects? Japan has thousands of muslins immigrants. It´s not hard to find the answer.
3. Disease
Joe Mevorah ,   Lincoln, USA   (02.21.14)
The sickness is unfortunate. The cause is well known. The solution is simple. Live on Israel and prosper. We've outlived Hitler's atrocities. We certainly can overcome the demented individuals who tear pages out of books.
4. Fetishism of Little Anne
bob wisby ,   tel aviv   (02.21.14)
This kind of thing is almost sure to happen when we place one girl, symbolic of all which is pure, innocent and kind in our Jewish people, on a pedestal so high. Someone somewhere is bound to want to tear her down, sully her in some way. A shame, but that's human nature.
5. And how is this minor story newsworthy?
Avner ,   Tel Aviv   (02.21.14)
There are slightly more important things in the world than what happens in a Tokyo library, even for the readership of Yediot Ahronoth.
6. Shanghai
Sherlock Holmes ,   London England   (02.23.14)
What's so odd about this is that during WW II the Japs refused to harm many thousands of Jews, including most of the Mir Yeshiva, who lived in Shanghai after escaping from Lithuania, with visas issued by the Japanese consul in Kovno. Japan refused to take part in anti-semitism.

Ever crossed your mind that maybe municipalities have more important needs to take care of than wasting a taxpayers money on book that would never see the daylight if the girl wasn't Jewish? There're millions of Annas that died of cold and starvation during Holodomor and Soviet famine artificially inflicted by Stalin' Jewish goons and no one gives a damn about it. Sure Anna was one too many but she was not the only one ,...

It wasn't a librarian that ripped the books. It was an individual who shares your sickness.

Yes, there were many 'Annes' in World War 2. One of these 'Annes' had friends and relatives that have kept her memory alive. I read her book as a child - as did many of my friends. It's a good way to introduce the history of this time to children. --- The popularity of Anne Frank's diary in no way diminishes the sufferings of the others who were just like her. --- No need to tear down Anne Frank's work. This doesn't help the other 'Annes' get their stories out. --- Perhaps you know some of the other stories? It's fairly easy to put a book on Amazon these days. Start letting the world know about these other stories.

WWII ended 69 years ago, time to move on not to shove it in other's throats something they don't want and know that's is done for the sole purpose to gain by the 'holocaust industry' and others making a buck of it ,... For Ann's relatives it's a source of tax exempted income on the top of tax exempted property and a racket for using her name ,...
