Israel is hostile to American interest. I believe BIBI is a racist that doesn't like BLACK people and that is why he is treated with contempt by the American administration, They see how he treats the Africans. They see how he begs for more money and funding for every weapons system knowing that the US is in a financial crisis. If i am wrong, please correct me.

much as I believe that Pollard has been unjustly abused all these years and should be freed, after reading Dr. Pipes opinion on the matter, I tend to agree-Obama will exact such horrible terms from Israel for releasing Pollard that it's a bad choice...maybe we should wait for a more understanding President in the WHouse?

He's serving time for what Israel did with those secrets. Israel traded highly sensitive US national security secrets to the Soviet Union for relaxed emigration for Soviet Jews. The US government is telling Jews who spy for Israel that if you get caught you fate will be a life sentence. Too bad they didn't fry him like they did Ethel and Julius Rosenberg.

The fact that Pollard received a life sentence which you term as 'disproportionate' indicates that this judge, experienced in these cases, must have seen the heinous nature of this crime and meted out a very fair sentence.
