Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (02.24.14)
2. Smuggle a gun into jail? Ha!
Lila ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (02.24.14)
He was in a high security prison. You can't smuggle a gun into a low security prison, much less a place like this. We don't know what really happened, but this guy's gone from this world, bottom line.
3. @1 & USA is a paradise! (rest it)

4. the son learned 2 b a psycho-path from his parents...
just saying ,   Israel   (02.24.14)
I don't believe either one of them...watch it will turn out that they were involved in getting the gun to Sheinbein. Whoosh! The giving Victoria is already on tv criticizing the Israeli Prison Authority...watching this one because tonight the news will be better than any reality show!
5. Hell, I'm still LOL at this policy of furloughs for cons
Cameron ,   USA   (02.24.14)
Idjit move if ever there was one. Well, you went to great lengths to keep this fellow Jew in the Holy Land, and here is your reward.
6. #4 wrong
Airborne ,   Jerusalem   (02.24.14)
Really? You really think that? So everyone in jail or who commits a crime did so because they learned it from their parents? Do you say the same about Arab murderers? The man is dead and the parents are grieving. We all hope the guards recover. But don't say that the killer learned it from his parents. That is just wrong and intellectually dishonest. Take your nonsense elsewhere.
7. Just gre up rotten
Aaron ,   Silver Spring   (02.25.14)
This kid went to all the best Jewish day schools in area, and got kicked out of every one for just being a rotten kid. He was also abad influence on many others with drug use, and indirectly responsible for death of Aaron needles who comiitted suicide in Maryland jail. He had a fear he would be killed in jail! it was a self fill filling prophecy.

I was on a professional visit to the NLM in 1999. I spoke with people who knew the families. They all said they were not surprised at the murder and destruction of the body - the three were bad hats since kindy. It was just a question of who would kill who.
9. Of course they helped him get the gun!
Dorothy Friend ,   Tel Aviv   (02.25.14)
Didn't Moshe ben Igvi's parents help him flee to Argentina? And of course they were never charged with aiding and abetting either!
10. there has to be more to this
zionist forever   (02.25.14)
How does a PRISONER back from furlough smuggle a gun back into a high security jail? When he got back he would have been searched, his possessions would have been taken from him and he would have been issued a prison uniform. There needs to be a major inquiry here and if there is negligence involved then heads must roll no matter how high up the chain of command the negligence goes because thanks to negligence a man was allowed to bring gun into a high security prison and as a result 3 guards have been shot. The only good things about this story is that the guards are all alive and the shooter is dead.
11. Crocodile tears
Dorothy Friend ,   Tel Aviv   (02.25.14)
Who helped him flee the USA if not Daddy Dearest? DD was willing to put him on our streets and endanger all of us and our families just to makes sure his Little Snowflake didn't get the death penalty or even life in a country where life is life, and not 24 years! The parents should just shut their yaps.
12. Really
Blaise ,   Atlanta, USA   (02.27.14)
I can't believe you can be so foolish as to think the parents had nothing to do with their childes behavior. They let a known brutal murderer escape justice in the US. There is something seriously wrong with them. Period! I don't care how much you love your child. You don't allow them to get away with something that diabolical, so that they can perpetrate their evil on more unsuspecting victims.
13. #3 - yes, compared to Israel it's a paradise
Mike   (03.21.15)
Although if we stopped letting in Israelis, a lot of fraud would be stopped.
