Israel has to be the ONLY country in the world, where its politicians don't want to claim national sovereignty over its holiest place in the very heart of its national capital. No matter if we are speaking of national/nationalist (often purely secular in nature) or religious or religous-nationalist sites of national importance - these sites are protected by the host nation and are considered both by the host nation and the rest of the world, to be the national symbol of the host country. And that's why the host nation has the SOLE and EXCLUSIVE sovereignty over its main site of national and religious importance. If it's true that Netanyahu and other politicians in the Knesset don't want Israeli sovereignty over the JEWISH Temple Mount, it means our politicians really don't represent Am Israel - but we knew that already.

The Jews, The Land, Temple Mount, God... The Jews claim the land of Israel and the Temple Mount because they say it was given to them by God. It is written in the "religion" of the Jews that the God of Abraham, of Moses is the Only Creator God...the only God of Israel. They are commanded to acknowledge, worship, and serve ONLY Him. However, the nation of Israel has publicly confessed that they do not have an official "religion / god" (ref. Ambassador Oren). This is also confirmed in their constitution. Therefore, the Jews are also saying that they do not recognize the above mentioned God (of Abraham, of Moses) as the official and only God of the nation of Israel. What do then the Jews (Israelis) believe in?...they believe in and live by the way of life of “freedom”...freedom of rights/religion, as do all democratic (self-ruling) nations. They embrace the desire to serve and magnify oneself (XES). And this is the “god above all fortresses” that they they worship and live by. And this way is self-serving. It creates conflict and death ….for each believes that he is right in his own eyes. Why should the Only God, whose Son is the Christ, stand for the Jews in their claim to the "land" when they have denied Him as the One & Only God, and have denied His Word...His Son the Christ? There will NOT BE any belief in the freedom of self-rights, self-religion, self-interest in the kingdom of the Only God. The Lord and Eternal King Jesus Christ said to repent…& His return is soon.
