Why tansfer any part of Jerusalem to Jordan. That is an insane precedent. How about just setting up 2 divided areas.: One for Moslems and the other for Jews? That impossible to do? If it is, then maybe Israel should get itself a government that can decide issues.

Israel has always been afraid of the Waqf so they let them do what they like. In 1967 Temple Mount was supposed to be open to everybody but the Waqf objected so over the years Israel made it harder & harder for Jew to go there and now if a Jew tries to go pray there they will be lucky to avoid arrest. We need an international trust not connected to the UN. No Israel or muslim countries on this trust and its job will be to look after Temple Mount, make sure no illegal digging goes on, archeology is preserved and without exception everybody is allowed to go pray there. A small synagogue should be built. It would not hold any formal services, no bar mitzvahs or flags flying it would be a small place for Jew to go pray at. Temple Mount is not a settlement whose future will be decided by haggling .

Israeli and Palestinian leaders should reveal to whom they formed covenant for the sovereignty of the temple mount. They have made covenants with foreigners. That is the reason for the wars between the two states.
