Michael ,   California, USA   (02.27.14)
When he gets home, preferably in Cesarea, he checks how much ice cream remains to eat. The Havana cigars he gets via Mars.
3. Bibi is just being a politician
zionist forever   (02.27.14)
Netanyahu like every other politician in the world is trying to sidestep issues he cannot control but people care about and so would loose him support. Opposition parties can promise to make Israel the richest most powerful country in the world where everybody will be happy because they don't have to deliver the goods. When your the PM if you make a promise people expect you to make good on it so if your not currently in a position to do that then don't promise and instead talk about other issues that concern people like Iran or Syria along with a little bit about the peace process to keep the left think your doing something close to their hearts as well.
4. Hardly surprising
Sarah B ,   Tel Aviv/London   (02.27.14)
The issues facing the Israeli people require hard work critical thinking and the ability to think outside the box. Attributes that Netanyahu doesn't possess. So he ramps up the fear factor to keep Israelis scared with the promise that he will keep them safe.
5. #2, stay igorant. Obama talks poverty and Netanyahu does.
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (02.27.14)
With all Obama's almost daily endless boring speeches about the issue, during the last five years poverty has increased in the US. Netanyahu is too busy to give many interviews or play golf and instead has worked relentlessly to decrease poverty in Israel during his tenure.
6. no. 1, 2 - Muslim in Chief is your model?

8. #5, Let the poor eat cakes, says Obama. Now what?
Michael ,   California, USA   (02.27.14)
9. Where was the concern for poverty when Olmertt was PM??
Scott ,   Ramat Gan   (02.27.14)
Poverty was worse under Olmert. The economy is stronger now & more jobs are being created - that's what reduces poverty. Also most pf those living in poverty are the haredim, who do not work & the arabs. The solution to both is the army or national service where they can learn job skills & get paid for it.
10. #7, SPIT. Are you looking in the mirror?

14. Bibi is a patriotic, proud/good Jewish Israeli
Al ,   California   (02.28.14)
Considering Bibi's amazing intelligence he could become a great success practically anywhere in this world. The Israelis must remember that they need Bibi more than Bibi needs them/or Israel. Why do the Israelis assault the people who give their lives to them and to the Jewish state of Israel? Bibi will go down in history as one of the greatest Jews who has ever lived. Stop assaulting a great man! There are very, very few countries in the world that are lucky enough to have a statesman like Bibi and a leader like Bibi. Stop pushing your luck, Israel!
15. G-d Bless Benjamin Netanyahu and Israel!
Frank ,   USA   (02.28.14)
16. Of course Bibi must focus on security first and foremost
Cathy ,   USA   (02.28.14)
Have you seen what surrounds Israel? Helloooooooooooo?
17. False dilemma
Peter   (02.28.14)
Security vs prosperity. While Israel is supposedly richer than ever and military budgets are shrinking (anyone remembers Gabi disbanding whole tank and infantry divisions?) the elites laugh and claim poverty to be essential to our jewish character. Poverty you say? Netanyahu the Sun King spend 6000 shekels a year on scented candles. He is a fraud. Like Ariel Sharon he is the one giving up land (not his own megaranch tough) allowing every external enemy to gain strength while punishing Israel with poverty. He puts on a kippa and plays good jew for the cameras during campaign season while his son dates a christian. He shamelessly uses the memory of his father and brother for his own gain as he has no achievements of his own. Thank god we have choices like Lapid. He will help the common man, the one barely making over 20.000 shekalim a month.
18. Peace and war are pretexts
Yehoshua ,   Israel   (02.28.14)
I am more than fed up with security issues. We have been talking about peace for decades and we achieved it when wanted to with Egypt and Jordan, but with the Palestinians we just succeeded to bring back nthe bunch of terrorists fron Tunis. The Pals want a state, let's give them it, we have anyway already lost Judea and Samaria de facto. It seems that the different Israeli governements are acting like the Pals, just using the so called peace process just to not do anything about the people issues. After all they are elected and are paid for that.
19. Reflected In Electrate
Zechariah   (02.28.14)
Jews have always had Poverty and when they were able they gave to sustainance level in Eastern Europe and when they could They Ransomed kidnapped Jews the Law demands support for the Poor.Israeli Health and Social Security budget has suffered due to vital security concerns and many Israeli Jews have left .Some still connect a lot and visit families in Israel not completely lost .Alot of Support ought be from the Galut there are a lot of wealthy and they give many .If the budget is better by Tax or Tzedaka Stringent Supervision and Auditing is Required.
20. Resh
Erin ,   USA   (02.28.14)
If you remember the times of the judges many years ago, you will remember each head of household cared for and oversaw his family, now we have men and women who oversee our classrooms, our schools, our villages, our marketplaces, our water and waste resources, and on and on it goes. Really,it is when each resh steps up does what is right in the eyes of Abba and cares for his or her home, family, village if called, schools, water resources, safety and more. We can't rely on one person...we are stronger when all those in places of being a head of household or organization stand up and care for those under them. Things can be better... if we all do what we can at whatever level we can contribute to our villages, regions, and maybe even country. Relying on one person leads to unnecessary frustration. Let's all share the load. I am praying for your wellfare.Amen.
21. It is pretty sickening to see how the Israelis
David ,   USA   (02.28.14)
are treating or mistreating their great leaders! Take a look at the Middle East. How many countries are in your neighborhood? Would you rather have some billionaire sheikh presiding over the Israeli government? Who would you rather have instead of Bibi? Who?
22. #12, Flawed thinking based upon incorrect facts.
Michael ,   California, USA   (02.28.14)
Always a moron, impersonating someone else, spitting venom. Pity the jealous!
