Just hope they are depending on the USA to come to the rescue. Obama is right that the EU should be front and center leading the support of the Ukrainian revolution that supports aligning with the EU. The USA should play a supporting role. With that said, the EU is weak kneed and unable to lead after 8 decades of US leadership. The question is with the USA under OBama withdrawing global leadership, and Russia and Iran filling the void - where will this end up? I suggest there will be a massive world scale war eventually once the West wakes up and realizes that there has to be a balance of power.

Bedides neutral Ukrainian army and Russian troops in Crimea the only organized and armed force is the ultra-nationalist Right Sector. One of the group’s leaders, Aleksandr Muzychko, has pledged to fight against “Jews and Russians until I die.” Asserting the Right Sector’s authority over the situation, Muzychko declared that now that the democratically elected government has been overthrown, “there will be order and discipline” or “Right Sector squads will shoot the bastards on the spot.” The Ukrainian opposition – now ruling in Kiev - includes fanatic Greco-Roman priests, hooligans, nationalists, Russophobes, neo-Nazis and anti-semitists. The Ukrainian right-wing is in a stronger position than Washington’s paid Ukrainian puppets, essentially weak and irrelevant persons who sold out their country for Berlin's or Washington’s money (Throughout the Internet you can find reports on covert action, informal dimplomacy and massive funding from U.S. institution aiming to achieve what has just happened. ). The Right Sector is organized, well armed, focused and it is not dependent on money funneled in from Washington and EU financed NGOs. The Right Sector doesn’t have to pay its protesters to take to the streets like Washington had to do. (P.S: Some background in Ukraine’s Would-be Coup As New Example About US Gangsterism - http://arirusila.wordpress.com/2014/02/19/ukraines-would-be-coup-as-new-example-about-us-gangsterism/ ) The most urgent task for new rulers was to State Language Policy Act, which granted “regional language” status to all languages of minority groups that make up more than 10 per cent of the population in a given area. The decision mainly affects not only communities of Russian-speakers but others too; for example Bulgarians and Hungarians are wery worried. In my opinion the only way Ukraine could avoid splittin is that moderate opposition parties and Party of regions plus other parties from ousted government join their forces to slam The Right Sector and similar groups down.
