Israel knows where the schools are and where the mosques are, and would avoid hitting either. However, the "school", which may have been used as a school at one time, is currently where troops are concentrated. If Syrian-on-Syrian violence has not killed the pupils and if they and their families have not fled as refugees, they are certainly not going to that school. That should not bother foreign headlines from screaming "Israel fires at Syrian school".
