This seems a good idea and worth seeing the outcome. The problem is that EU delegations apply significantly higher standards to Israel than they do themselves refusing to ever see parallels. The EU may likely call Israel's bluff if the EU ever intended to be honest. But if it didn't, Israel would then be able to inspect EU prisons and find worse cases of exactly the same violations being carried out by the EU also. That would then be very embarrassing for them. So the anti-Israel activists who infiltrated and became EU bureaucrats could find themselves cornered. At the very least, the libels that were likely to be written would now have to be drafted much more carefully.

Once again the EU is letting itself being used by the Palestinians during the negotiations. Lieberman is quite right, and he should demand of the EU to also look into Palestinian prisons - now, that would be something!
