They have their facts BACKWARDS! the Arabs are treated extremely well by Israel. it is "settlers" who are thrown into prisons without cause. Hopefully, in a few years, these kids will go through a process of self-examination and they'll come to the conclusion they don't know what the hell they're talking about. Because, having been on the very far left of the political spectrum when I was a student, I absolutely believed that America was the most evil country on earth, responsible for all the suffering and evil in the world. Then, one day, you snap out of your delusional thinking, because you've come to the conclusion that the lunatic fringe left has actually become the new fascism. And while I'll never be able to shake off my steadfast belief in things like abortion, gay rights and even assisted suicide, and I will always be an unabashed atheist, I'll never have anything but utter contempt for the accusation that the IDF is immoral....and my suspicion is that a lot of these kids will turn out the same way.

We are talking about dozens of people signing this petition. Not hundreds, thousand or millions, this lot are just your traditional Tel Aviv draft dodgers who refuse to serve on these so called moral grounds. We a lll know they are out there so why write stories about them now because dozens sign a petition. This is not exactly some changing cultural attitude in Israeli society

The main takeaway from this vile letter, which could easily have been encouraged by adult leftists, is that we have to stop leftists from poisoning our children's minds. Only patriots should be allowed to teach our youth.

These people believe they should refuse to serve in an army that commits crimes and their definitions of crimes which is fair enough they believe they are doing right. What about the haredi who believe they should not serve because as religious men they should be studying in yeshiva learning Torah so they can be better Jews. Yeshivia isn't seen by them as some kind of attempt to be lazy they legitimately believe there lives are better served in yeshiva bettering themselves as Jews so where is the difference between the haredi and the people who wrote this letter, both are refusing to serve because its the morally right ting to do only difference is one is haredi and everybody hates haredi and one is not so its easier to be sympathetic towards them.

The simple solution is to form a bank with all tehudat z numbers of all not wanting to serve and thus not able to receive any benefits from the state. Anytime they go anywhere to learn,study or work all will know who they are.

People want to serve in an army that protects their nation, but not if it means occupying and violating human rights of a whole other nation. I hope Netanyahu reaches a peace agreement with the Palestinians and gets out of the West Bank.
