1. stupid idea from a dumb US general
mark   (03.10.14)
israeli technology should not be in arab hands period. Forget about the US military.
2. Stupid US government
sheik rattle & roll ,   USA   (03.10.14)
What is wrong with the American government. They are shelling out almost 500 million dollars to a foreign military and cutting back on the US military. The US government no longer represents the people. If the people had a vote we wouldn't be cutting back on close air support fighter squadrons. There is also a shortage of fighter pilots in the US Military because they are cutting back on training and pilots are running to private airlines to fly and stay closer to home, however the US air force is offering $250,000 bonuses to retain fighter pilots, but not one pilot has accepted. Why not cut all foreign military aid and fund our own military and not offer $250,000 to retain a pilot.
3. Perhaps a kickback

As a proposal for the current Israeli/PA peace-talks?
4. #1. stupid idea from a dumb US general
Ed ,   Toronto, Canada   (03.10.14)
Read the article again. Nobody said anything about handing Iron dome to the Jordanians/Egyptians. He suggested Israel could utilize Iron Dome's range and cover threats over Jordan and Egypt.
5. As long as they get along.
manicdrummer ,   Haifa, Israel   (03.10.14)
If Egypt and Jordan are willing to take the Palestinians once and for all, we could go along with the idea.
6. Hmmmm !!!
Mike ,   NZ   (03.10.14)
Not convinced over this idea. I would worry that these systems or tech info could fall into the wrong hands should the host government be overthrown. Its a very volatile area with neighbours from hell. However on the plus side I could see the advantages . . but do they outweigh the disadvantages.
7. The only "dome" Jordan should recieve from Israel
A ,   Belgium   (03.10.14)
is the gold dome, "palestinians" included free of charge.
8. There is only one country that deserves this: Free Kurdistan
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (03.11.14)
In the future a democratic Iran free of Ayatollah regime can receive this kind of protection from Israel.
9. PLEASE INCLUDE THE UKRAINE!
DemocracyRules ,   Canada   (03.11.14)
PLEASE INCLUDE THE UKRAINE! The Israeli government's attempt to distance itself from the Ukraine-Russia conflict is a mistake. Democracies should help each other, and the Ukraine is struggling to be a democracy. Trying to 'befriend' Russia will not work, because Russia relies heavily on Muslim dictatorships to extend its power. The weaker Russia gets, the safer Israel (and the world) gets. Russia supplies nuclear scientists, nuclear technology, nuclear materiel, and missile tech to Iran, Syria, and North Korea. Russia is laundering money for Iran so it can access international banks. The KGB invented and promoted airline highjacking. Most importantly, the Ukraine needs Israeli support in enforcing the defense agreement that the US, Britain, and others signed to support the Ukraine if it was attacked. It was signed to induce the Ukraine to give up its nuclear weapons. The US and Britain are backing away from this agreement. This is similar to the defense agreement that Obama promises for Israel in exchange for returning to the 1949/1967 borders. If Israel publicly draws this parallel, they have a chance to show how shaky these agreements are, and how trusting (crazy?) Israel has to be to sign one. Ask the Poles what they think of 'promise to defend' agreements, after they signed one with Britain before WWII. It took 50 years to liberate Poland from totalitarianism, after millions died.
