1. So in other words, Netanyahu remains...
Gunnar ,   Gothenburg, Sweden   (03.12.14)
...a cry baby while the rest of the World has grown up. Sounds like an accurate description to me.....
2. Contemptible linkage with "Palestinians".
Chaim ,   Israel   (03.12.14)
Does the author think readers are dumb enough to believe the world would come dashing to confront Iran if Israel made more suicidal concessions to "Palestinians"??? Utterly contemptible. The obvious truth is that it is up to Israel to destroy Iran's nukes. Just as with Iraqi and Syrian nukes. Let's do it NOW!
3. No Comparison and No Similarities
Abdel Karim Salim ,   Jerusalem   (03.12.14)
It looks quite ridiculous and pitiful to try to strike a comparison between the late Winston Churchill and the current Benjamin Netanyahu . Great Britain at that time was a world empire with a strong economy and a strong military . And Germany under the Nazis re-emerged as an industrial giant capable of producing heavy weapons in large numbers to the point of threatening all Europe . Iran is still a developing Third World country that definitely lacks the potential to become an industrial giant , let alone a world empire . And Israel too is but a tiny country with a small population surrounded and outnumbered since its inception by a multitude of Arabs . Furthermore, Israel still relies heavily for its survival on foreign help militarily and financially ( the USA ) . Consequently the West does not seem to see a mortal danger coming from Iran and equally does not consider the Israeli-Iranian tense rivalry as something that necessitates a joint military adventure ( a costly and precarious one ) by the Western World or the international community . Besides , it would still make much sense to view Iran's nuclear program as necessary to balance Israel's nuclear might and thus if parity is achieved between the two then both would be much less tempted to use nuclear weapons for fear of causing a Middle East "MAD". In the final analysis Israel could only achieve peace with security and stability if both the Arabs and Israel are ready to accept each other . Otherwise , if the Palestinian problem remains unsolved military power will remain impotent ...
4. What, a turkish crew asking for alcohol!?!?
Brett L ,   JHB RSA   (03.12.14)
You know he will be tried and convicted for this heinous crime of accepting Israeli gifts, ESPECIALLY the infidels booze!!
5. The World has come to terms
Joe Mevorah ,   Lincoln, USA   (03.12.14)
This is a well written article. If allowed to do so, Iran will build its bomb at a time of its choosing. Sanctions will eventually be reduced, and business and world wide greed will dominate the interests of the U.S, and other countries.. What does that mean for Israel? It's decision time. Israel will stand alone as usual, and Netanyahu needs to stop bitching and attack Iran. The world will yell and scream publically. Privately, many will applaud. the Saudis will be first in line.
6. A Given years ago
Youseff Bey ,   USA   (03.12.14)
This was indeed a given years ago, that the world (the US) would do zero regarding Iran. The main reason which anyone with critical brain damage could see and not ignore, that no one, including the US is going to fight Russia. And who is building the Reactors in Iran? And we're supposed to believe the red line that the US gave how long back? I don't think so. So as back then, it's known now, the main reason and not the only one, why the world is not going to go against Iran.
7. enough
freddie ,   usa   (03.12.14)
Poor Bibi. He is always screaming out. The world does not do as he wants. Then he tells us Israel can and might act along. Then he screams out for the world to do something. perhaps he ought not scream so much any longer since nations seems unwilling at this point to do what he wants and, meanwhile, his notion that Israel will go it alone, now seems incresingly a bluff.
8. One of the scariest stories I've read so far...
JtC ,   Nir Eliyahu / Jhb   (03.12.14)
What more has to happen to actually get the international community's attention vis-a-vis Iran? The scary part is the corollary - that the international community's attention is irrelevant as they probably don't disagree with Iran's behaviour, or possibly even encourage it.
9. demonstrate the missiles in the mediterranean
Lemmings Hotline ,   sd usa   (03.12.14)
show Europe the speed and range of the missiles. That ought to wake them up.
10. No one listens to Bibi
Dan   (03.12.14)
Under Bibi Israel has lost all credibility. It cannot complain about Iran while it is pursuing an illegal, counterproductive and unsustainable Greater Israel fantasy, constantly expanding settlements and resisting any push for a 2-state solution. Bibi has got to go and so do the settlements; only then will the world be inclined and able to see the real issues: the Arab/Muslim aggression and intolerance that will remain even after the settlers are gone. Only then will anyone begin to think Israel might be right. Until then, the perfectly rational if mistaken belief is that we brought hatred upon ourselves.
11. Bibi will be the hero of this century.
BUTSeriously ,   Sydney   (03.12.14)
The nations who hide will face what they imagine only targets Israel. Not so: Londonistan & Paristan are happening with the same weapon they sent on Israel to attack them - their lands and Capitals are being taken over. Frank N. Stein made a U-turn.
12. Netanyahu is the architect of his own demise.
Al   (03.12.14)
How? By simply not being consistent. If you are pining against international terror that is being waged by the Iranians and at the same time you succumb to terror by way of releasing terrorist murderers, you have lost all credibility. Netanyahu is a show boater with no real ideological compass. He stands for nothing but he has learned to seize on a particular subject in order to promote his own agenda, namely himself. When push comes to shove, he has shown time and time again, he folds like a cheap suit. He likes the limelight, he likes the attention. He loves the Hollywood lights and the pizzaz. He loves his cigars and his other little perks. His sense of entitlement is all encompassing. Israel, a country that has to fight for its very existence day in day out deserves leaders with strong Zionist motivations. These leaders need to be consistent, dedicated and all encompassing. They cannot vacillate and at the same expect anyone to take them seriously. Israel deserves better than what she has in terms of leadership. Her very existence depends on it.
13. Did you really think otherwise
Robert ,   lost in farmington   (03.12.14)
Dear Netanyahu , did you really think otherwise , Israel has always been on it's own ,and always will be on it's own. To think otherwise is crazy.May the Lord forever bless the State of Israel and it's people.
14. Stop ALL weapons to Middle East
Peter M ,   New Zealand   (03.12.14)
Starting with the largest. US arms to Israel. Then US arms to Egypt Saudi Arabia and the various Al qada offshhots. Iran weapons hardly a major problem.
15. What a surprise! The world does not care about Israel!
Bob K ,   Orlando FL USA   (03.12.14)
We know it, the world knows it including the Iranians and Palestinians. SO the only option is to expose and warn anyway and then do everything we can to protect ourselves and ignore the world's condemnations. Jewish life is very cheap but the world is happy to benefit from Jewish brainpower - nothing new. Let's not be really surprised. Those rockets now sitting in Eiilat were never intended for anywhere but Israel so why would anyone really care all that much.
16. Stunt Preempted by Putin
Mark of Lewiston ,   USA   (03.12.14)
Netanyahu's stunt was preempted by Putin invading and stealing Crimea. Putin controls thousands of real nukes with real ICBMs.
17. It is Okay, Nahum
Israeli 2   (03.12.14)
Tzahal and the Mossad are working on Israel's behalf. Do you still have faith in them? Okay, so...have faith in Hashem. Leave Bibi and politics alone. It does not matter. Really, it doesn't.
18. I really don't understand what the author wants
Nachman   (03.12.14)
Should Bibi keep quiet??? when Israel is threatened with annihilation from Iran and by extension Hezballah and Hamas. But this should alarm the entire Israel that the world could not give a damn what happens to Israel. It is time to call a spade and tell Kerry enough we are not interested in your bargaining Israel away and like Yaalon put it take your Noble and stop bothering.
19. Well -
Arn. ,   Sweden.   (03.12.14)
- I could understand that the Western leaders has become tired to listen to the Israeli PM, because so have I. No more Words are required, it is action that is, and it falls on the responsibility on Israel to act, sinse Irans threath is a Spiritual one in its core , contradicting the will of HASHEM. The World will never protect the Chosen People of HASHEM if they dont have HIS Mission to do so. Arn.Sweden.
20. BB the king of blah blah
Zionist forever   (03.12.14)
Unlike Israelis who fall for BB and his pretty speeches, the west wants action not words, no wonder they dont bother listening to him.
21. Bibi Is Losing The Battle
A.C.Guard ,   USA   (03.12.14)
The world doesn't care if Israel and it's Jewish population is the country Iran nukes. At some point I hope Bibi realizes this fact. Israel probably had opportunities to take out or at least significantly delay Iran from developing a nuclear device early on but didn't take the chance. Israel didn't act because it's leaders feared the words reaction or feared Obama would take action against Israel. It was a miscalculation and now Israel will pay the price. Bibi is more suited to talk than action.
22. Are There No More Real Leaders ?
Dan ,   USA   (03.12.14)
Israel used to have leaders who understood Israel would remain a country as long as it remained strong and took definitive action when needed. Now Israel's leader's idea of action is to shoot a rocket into an empty field and whine to an unlistening world. It is very sad to watch.
23. world won't mind then when we shoot them into gaza city in r
ralph   (03.12.14)
Return fire when they fire their rockets at our cities.
24. The world is a fools playground of blindmen
Rob ,   Ashqelon, Israel   (03.12.14)
Israel is a small area, full of something this world is full of hate about. Yet won't change the facts the "world" is mostly ignorant, and petulant liars about us. They really are, almost every every sect & country, taring at us with lethal compromises, accusations and inverting the truth into mockery, bribes & flatteries, financial coercions and assaults in different ways, making Israel defend itself or stumble. And the "world" whom does any of this is soon to be cut to ribbons. YHVH will not be mocked.
25. HISTORY REPEATS! BEWARE OF IRAN ON PURIM!!
Rivkah   (03.12.14)
Be ready for an attack from Iran on or before or just after Purim which is this Sunday. Jewish Rabbis think Israel in the latter days will face all the historical enemies of the Jews: Pharoah of Egypt (1973 War), a Nebuchaddnezer (Iraq and Iran), a Hitlerian power (E.U.), a seven headed ten horned beast (U.N.) as well as Islamic nations AND Russia. It is all coming or has already for some of the ancient enemies in modern times. Saddam (means destroyer) was probably the Apollyon (Abbadon), a fallen angel who came out of the bottomless pit in Revelation. Many believe Emperor Nero of Rome will come out of the bottomless pit to attack Israel. TV Evangelist Perry Stone talked about that and showed a bust of the head of Nero that looks like US Senator Ted Cruz of Texas. The bust of Nero on Wikipedia does not look like him but looks more like Bill Clinton, a likeness that the late great Pastor J.R. Church pointed out in 1994. BHO looks like Pharoah King of Egypt. A likeness of BHO who was Satan in the movie Son of God that is in theaters now was taken out of the movie, perhaps for fear of IRS attacks.
26. Do not expect the world to react.
DT ,   TA Israel   (03.12.14)
It is a "given" that the world welcomes "peace at any price" especially if it is at Israel's expense. I would never have expected the World to condemn Iran, then, now or in the future. Time Israel realises this and acts on it's own
27. the world never cared about israel
CJK   (03.12.14)
the world, including the us and europe, will never lift a single finger to help israel. to the contrary, they will do all in their power to undermine the jewish state without actually invading her. netanyahu simply does his job when he points out repeatedly the existential threat from the shia terror entity. he and his defence minister, his military high command know that they stand alone and will have to do the job alone to eliminate as much as possible of the shia terrorists' nuclear weapons program. obama will do nothing except send kerry, susan rice, army generals, in an attempt to stop the jewish state from exercising her right to self defence. should iran acquire nuclear weapons, the chances of a nuclear war will increase. iran has made it perfectly clear that its goal is to annihilate israel.
28. cries
Susan ,   U.S.   (03.12.14)
When we as Jews begin to understand the only things which change the human condition is the date, we will become smarter and stronger. The world watched hated and annihilated us since time immemorial. Antisemitism the longest running most destructive hate on the planet is still alive today. To ask 'why' in 2014 our cries are unheard is to deny history. To understand the possibility of 'innate' Antisemitism will lead us to answer our own cries once and for all.
29. Not too long now
graczek ,   Maryland, USA   (03.12.14)
It will not be too long before Iran moves forward and with its power cleans out the scourges of Zionism and other usurping forces from the Middle East, thereby bringing permanent calm and peace to that region.
30. missiles
eddie ,   sa   (03.12.14)
test the missiles in the mediteranian sea near south Europe to show them what iran is capable of
