It looks quite ridiculous and pitiful to try to strike a comparison between the late Winston Churchill and the current Benjamin Netanyahu . Great Britain at that time was a world empire with a strong economy and a strong military . And Germany under the Nazis re-emerged as an industrial giant capable of producing heavy weapons in large numbers to the point of threatening all Europe . Iran is still a developing Third World country that definitely lacks the potential to become an industrial giant , let alone a world empire . And Israel too is but a tiny country with a small population surrounded and outnumbered since its inception by a multitude of Arabs . Furthermore, Israel still relies heavily for its survival on foreign help militarily and financially ( the USA ) . Consequently the West does not seem to see a mortal danger coming from Iran and equally does not consider the Israeli-Iranian tense rivalry as something that necessitates a joint military adventure ( a costly and precarious one ) by the Western World or the international community . Besides , it would still make much sense to view Iran's nuclear program as necessary to balance Israel's nuclear might and thus if parity is achieved between the two then both would be much less tempted to use nuclear weapons for fear of causing a Middle East "MAD". In the final analysis Israel could only achieve peace with security and stability if both the Arabs and Israel are ready to accept each other . Otherwise , if the Palestinian problem remains unsolved military power will remain impotent ...

This is a well written article. If allowed to do so, Iran will build its bomb at a time of its choosing.
