We all lost. We're a bunch of losers and love to hate ourselves. I made Aliyah 10 years ago and every day is more traumatic than the one before.

Bayit Hagoyim started to fall before charedim, so will they continue to fall before charedim and the Torah.

3. Will the sore losers demand another vote?
Hopefully these sore losers will move out of Beit Shemesh and take Yesh Lapid along.
|
|
|
Halavi that those "sore losers" would move out. They would take the entire tax base of the city with them, which would turn Bet Shemesh into the complete dump that many of its inhabitants richly deserve.

You really need to rethink what you are saying.
First of all--contesting an election filled with fraud doesn't make one a sore-loser.
Second and probably more importantly, those who voted for Cohen are also Beit Shemesh's tax base. The Chareidim better pray they do NOT move out --for if they do, Beit Shemsh will be at the beginning of a long slippery slide to poverty. Where do you think the money will come from when no one works?--or those who do are working off the books and paying no taxes!

be interesting to see how many people change their residency now that they have voted - it is well known that many rental agreements for the same home were issued to Haridim in Jerusalem, that is why the ministry of the Interior office in Beit Shemesh was closed all last summer to make it easy for them to make the change.

9. The outcome was exactly the same as last time
hope the secularists eat themselves up for this that Hashem is on the side of the chareidim.

10. Hahaha most garbage in the streets more poverty more want
Gee I guess this what god wants for his believers.
The Haredim will be the death of modern Israel.
They refuse to protect themselves against a rabid enemy.
70 years after the holocaust and these morons have learned nothing.
Of course according to their spiel, the holocaust was gods way of punishing the Jews for not following in his way.
You simply can't make this stuff up.
No small wonder most Jews are divorcing themselves from these moon bats.
They will learn very quickly that their own children will leave them to pursue a normal Jewish life.
Its happening already as more and more of their youth are waking up.
The Haredim will be left on the trash heap of history wallowing in their self induced stupor of want neglect poverty and delusion.

Beit Shemesh is finished. No matter who won. No one in their right mind, secular or religious, would ever think to move to this disgusting place full of hatred on both sides. I live in a mixed neighborhood in Jerusalem, and we have no problems here. Everyone lives their own lifestyle, and we respect each other. Something very wrong is going on in Beit Shemesh,

Wether you agree or not with haredi lifestyle, the people of Beth shemesh have spoken. On the other hand it's up to the government to make it an attractive choice for haredim to get into the army

17. Ora I was raised religious..I became secular
as I saw the abject nonsense of the uber frum.
My kids chose to be religious. I won't change their mind. In fact I am proud of them, for as much as they are religious, they know what its all about.
They don't use our religion as an excuse for doing sweet bugger all in life.
However I still think the ultra orthodox are insane.
If they want to wallow in self pity, 'god is doing it to me' and other such nonsense well I will not stop them and I certainly will not support them.

ultra Orthodox as there different Secular Jews.My opinion on them is not related to their opinion ,but to their behaviour.Therefor you have to know them personally, and not to believe everything you read in the papers. There are fine people among all societies.
You changed sides most probably because "hilul Hashem" of some evil people.I am very sorry for that.
Al,you don't have to support the Ultra Orthodox, but please, don;t blemish a whole society because of some rotten apples.
People who care for their body and as well their soul needs are sane, believe me.Al.
Be happy,father of great kids.
