1. What this shows
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (03.12.14)
All that it needed was a bit of determination and action by the Egypt government. It shows how much the Mubarak regime was cheating Israel by reneging on the Israel-Egypt Peace Treaty. Even more disgracefully,it shows how much successive US Administrations,Israel's supposed ally, failed to live up to their commitment to Israel to ensure that the Egypt government delivered what it agreed to when it signed the treaty. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
2. Egypt's finally earning her US foreign aid
BUILD BABY BUILD   (03.12.14)
thrilled to see them attack Hamas and the tunnels. Gaza is not too bright to attack the Egyptian army. I hope Egypt makes Gaza glow in the dark for another 1,000 years. THANK G-D ISRAEL'S BUILDING !!!
3. IAF thought it was great to destroy 4 tunnelsThanks Gen Sisi

5. What an unequalled deed!
Erez   (03.12.14)
For a government and a military that used to claim they couldnĀ“t destroy the tunnels because they were unable to locate them. All of a sudden the terrorists turned their weapons against them and they miraculously begun to find each and every tunnel. Yep, you can trust the arabs anyday.

7. #1 - What this shows ....

That you're simply stupid or math challenged if you have bought this crap - Gaza-Egypt border is 12 km long, that leaves you just 8.75 meters apart from each other ,... Gosh ,...
8. Correction to my post @ 7,...
split ,   US   (03.12.14)
Assuming that each tunnel is 1 meter wide it leaves 7.75 meter space between them ,...
9. #7: your calculation misses the point
david ,   new york   (03.13.14)
they said 1300 tunnels, but didnt say over how long a period of time. likely tunnels were rebuilt in the same area and re-destroyed multiple times, so the density would be less than you said. perhaps some of them weren't even complete.
10. to Split # 7 and 8
Oleg ,   USA   (03.13.14)
First: Why did you decide that they are on the same depth level? Second: who said that they were built in one straight line shape? they could be built like 'Y' or any other shape with multiple entry and exit points. Third: what time period? And even if this actual number is 3 or 4 time less still looks very good for me.

Clearly you can' t comprehend what those tunnels are and how they were built. You love to get up in the morning and can't wait to read Israeli news so that you can post your Jew hating nonsense. What a deprived mind you have.
12. Tunnels 8 meters apart along 11 kilometer border with Egypt?
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (03.13.14)
Doubtful.
13. #9 & 10 ,...
split ,   US   (03.13.14)
Once you dig a tunnel and collapse it you can't dig another one in the same place or close by, above or below without special equipment and reinforcement - Too expensive and complicated ,... For what period is not a problem to establish knowing when this junta got the grip on power ,... Have a good one ,...
