and there is no point in feeling sorry for those hypothetically medically deprived people simply bcause the monies for their foods and medicines was diverted and plunged into the missiles and bombs used to carry out terrorisms against Israel and Egypt.

6. Wow!
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.18.14)
I wonder what they call blowing up buses carrying innocent civilians and firing mortars and missiles into civilian areas. Israel's retaliations are self-defense -- protecting and defending one's civilian population is an affirmative duty of a sovereign state. Hamas' actions are all deliberate provocations. That they are directed against civilians makes them war crimes and crimes against humanity. Even Goldstone labeled them as such.
7. Why complain when they love death more than we love life
Alan ,   SA   (03.18.14)
8. blame it on the Egyptian MB not Israel
zionist forever   (03.18.14)
The Egyptans decide they didn't like the MB and banned them, Hamas are a branch of the MB and so the new Egyptian government wants to weaken Hamas by shutting down the smuggling business. Since Hamas are such humanitarians these days maybe they like to consider ending the rocket fire against Israel and using construction materials to build homes rather than tunnels to bring in weapons. Just imagine a humanitarian Hamas, ruling over a peaceful Gaza without any restrictions on what materials they can get, no shortage of fuel for their power station, homes for everybody, lots of jobs
9. Egypt is controlling its borders....
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (03.18.14)

12. Hamas
Irwin Z. ,   Miami, Fl., USA   (03.18.14)
Not to be redundant here, but "Hamas" is a crime against humanity. All the aid they receive is stolen, squandered, used for weapons, bombs, etc. The people there could have had a thriving economy ... they destroyed the producing greenhouses that were left for them ... these people make careers whining all the time never their fault, responsibility etc.

You may even add Jordan and some of the Gulf region countries to this list. There are Arab countries wise enough to realize the benefits of siding with Israel.

18. This is FAR WORSE than a mere "crime against humanity..."
Apominondis   (03.19.14)
It is, without question, a "crime against existence," and as such, it is likely that Sir. Richard Falk (himself!) is planning to announce that this is, in fact, a "crime against the universe," as well as a brazen and unparalleled assault upon all forms of life: animal, vegetable, and mineral, a "crime against the non-sentient," a "crime against art and all forms of artistic expression," a "crime against nursery rhymes" a "crime against those limericks who ratified and are therefore recognized signatories of the 1986 Maritime Treaty against the Unmitigated and/or Unprovoked Ridicule of Any Limerick Which Features a Verbal or Implied Reference to the Principality of the Island of Nantucket," as well as being an obvious "crime against the time-space continuum," a "crime against the multi-verse," a "crime against history," a "crime against those whose birth has yet to occur," and - shockingly - a "crime against dream-sequences and imaginative scenarios" It goes without saying that this may very well be a "crime against the civil liberties of the emoticon and/or the use of symbols in the place of letters as a means of being different." Yet hope is not lost! We must place our trust in the distinguished hands of the United Nations, who - with the aid of the Revered Leaders of the Grand Imperial Consortium of Unified Fingerpainters, Broccoli-Admirers, and Friends of the Polynesian Earthworm - can still prevent this escalation of violence before it is too late... You are ALL invited to participate in the collective pantomiming of a candle-light vigil (no actual candles will be harmed) - which will be led by our Leader, Dr. Reginald Alphonse Miltonburger III. Details will be forthcoming. Be strong, and never forget: We shall overcome!
