aaron ,   toronto,canada   (03.19.14)
What president? his term stopped a long time ago. Why doesn't he call for a new elections? is he afraid that hamas will win and he'll be shipped back to tunis along with the rest of the thieves as far as a one state solution I'm sure you have your Jordanian passport so that will qualify you to be deported and you won't have to worry about Israel or its citizens.
32. # 1 Are you anti-Israeli?
Daniel   (03.19.14)
Dror, you do realize that you play 100% into the hands of Israel's enemies, right? They'd love to paint Israel as an apartheid-state like the old South Africa. And here you come, suggesting exactly that. What you are saying correponds perfectly to the old bantustans the apartheid-regime put in place. Israel is not an apartheid-state, but it is worrying that so many people commenting here seem to try to want to make it into such a state. Israel would have nothing to gain but much to lose from such a disastrous policy.
33. Re: #1 We do not want you...
J ,   Tel Aviv   (03.19.14)
So the West Bank is a private zoo run by the army? Or a foster home for people the state of Israel has deemed unable to take care of themselves? The status quo can't go on and the options at this point are either 2 states or a single one with everyone equal before the law. That's the definition of democracy Israel claims to.
34. Partly correct
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.19.14)
Israel should absolutely annex Judea and Samaria and extend Israeli law. Of course, all sovereign states have the absolute right to determine which foreigners may and which foreigners may not live within its borders. We do not think that the 2.5 million Arabs living in Judea and Samaria would make good citizens of Israel (as they have proven time and again for the better part of a century). And since these 2.5 million Arabs are, in fact, Jordanian citizens, we believe that repatriation is the optimal solution. I'm sure that the "Palestinians" will be much happier under Jordanian rule. There's enough of them (over 80% of Jordan's population is, after all, "Palestinian") to make changes in the government which will allow them to rule themselves. Their actions have proven over and over for a very long time that they do not wish to be part of Israel. Given their violent behavior and terrorist inclinations, we do not wish for them to be a part of Israel, either. So a parting of the ways is in everyone's best interests. The land stays with Israel (hey; six victories in six defensive wars have to count for something; the way wars work is that if you start one and lose, you lose territory -- that's what happened to Jordan). There's no getting past Israel's absolute right to retain and annex nonsovereign Judea and Samaria. Its Arab population are not stateless; they are Jordanian citizens. We are going to send them home.
35. after they wanted self identity they giving it
ghostq   (03.19.14)
up?! maybe they r biopolar, it was their idea not to be part of Israel than came the first intifada, now they say we want back! none in history was more biopolar than palis. He can't even make peace in his privat life, divorce indeed, he can't make peace with others.
36. We don't want the Palestinians living in the West Bank
Jacob E ,   Holon, Israel   (03.19.14)
We want a 2 state solution because we want the PA and all their violent citizens behind their own borders. We want to give them sovereignty so that they are fully responsible for their own actions and we can treat them like their own country when it comes to responding to hostile actions. We want them to police their own people so we can show the world how they will have to deal with their own actions. We don't want any of these things in Israel. Draw the borders, build a wall, and tell them to apply at the embassy if they want a visa to visit Israel.
37. 30 Israelis
jenny ,   BH CA   (03.19.14)
And the Arab world has 1.3 billion muslims waking up every morning and saying how can we commit terror, wishing terror and wishing for the destruction of all non muslims especially israel.
38. Although a tycoon by privilage, he speaks sense
Lynx ,   Palestine   (03.19.14)
The One State has been the preferred outcome for Palestinians since 1947. In fact, it was the PLO's official stance until the mid 1980s when Arafat got distracted by the Oslo charades. A word to Jewish Israelis....The One State is not a recipe for your destruction, it's a means through which all human beings and natives of the land will be accorded their full rights - full stop. This includes the right of Palestinian refugees who either fled or were expelled in 1948 to return to their lands. Wishing here for a secular, single state with a dynamic plural democracy. Peace / Shalom to you all.
39. 2States, 1Country, Palestine Israel, '67 borders, Federation
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (03.19.14)
40. We can start by dissolving the PLO and remove you
William ,   Israel   (03.19.14)
and your family back to Tunis. Let's start there, then we can begin speaking about a 1-State solution, where Jordan and Israel slice up the disputed land and end this farce altogether. With the PLO out of the picture, its likely we'd reach an agreement pretty quickly....but then, which EU nation will support you and your family perpetually?
41. Jordan is your home ..now leave peacefully!
Mario   (03.19.14)
or else it wont be peaceful.
42. True and...
Zyx ,   US   (03.19.14)
... this "one-state" should be a jordanian-palestinian federation.
43. I also believe in a one state solution
frank ,   rehovot   (03.19.14)
and that one state sees the terrorist, those so called palestinians out. They have a country, jorden, and we have ours. The fact they they want ours does not make it so. What we do need is a strong gov't that will stand up to the US, EU and the other alphabets....one state, absolutley, ours!!!!
44. He is right.....and wrong.
Reuven Brauner ,   Raanana, Israel   (03.19.14)
He is right about the one-state solution. No other way. He is wrong in his assessment of how Israelis view the local Arabs. They do not plot against them and would love to cooperate with them. But, first comes security......
45. The Arab Palestinian Investment Company
Danny ,   Givatiyim   (03.19.14)
The Arab Palestinian Investment Company - is this where he invests the $100 million stolen from the Palestinian government by his father, even though Abbas claims that his wealth comes from his own businesses!! Crooks and liars the lot of them.
46. #1 Too late honey
(03.19.14)
Those settlements will come to bite you forever.
47. If the peace talks fail
Sem ,   Netherlands   (03.19.14)
There is an truth about in Palestian thinking. Let us tke over all of the westbank and Samaria and we will have a problem, as it is imposible to occupy a people ffor prolonged time. On the other hand, we do not need them to seperate of them. The protecting wall is already in place and I would suggest to accompodate that wall, so there is leverage, if the Palestians decide it is better to make a deal after all. Leave the army inside the territory, but just for defensive purposes. As we should learn of what went wrong in Gaza. Hopefully, in time the other side will come to the table to make a just and wokable peace. Be well and safe, Sem.
48. Pallywood comedy
Menachem ,   Israel   (03.19.14)
It must be terrible being the son of a corrupt and filthy rich third world despot. Abbas is impotent and irrelevant. Israel and only Israel decides it future.
49. "hear, hear a totally corrupt genius is talking!
tiki ,   belgium   (03.19.14)
Probably how to get more idiots to invest in his Arab-Palestinian Investment company because 'talking peace is just window dressing.....and he know it, just as his father does. These people (like their predecessor Arafat) have become multi millionairs over the backs of their own people.
50. Israeli Arabs
Raphael ,   Netanya   (03.19.14)
Bullying the Jews (building without licence, tax fraud, national service evasion, stockpiling illegal weapons, lynching some jewish citizens e.g. Peqiin, Lod, Yafo, etc..) may have given Abbas Jr ideas of extending their "victimisation" to the territoiries.
51. Calling a spade a spade
Abe Benjamin ,   Migdal Ha Emek Israe   (03.19.14)
We should have a referendum in Um al Faqum , who wants to be in Palestine ? Who wants to be In Israel? Then let the world 'perhaps' will see that the Arabs are much better off here in Jewish Israel than in any other Arab entity . If any of them vote to be in Palestine , don't wait for a second transport him there ! It's so easy , let's do it!
52. The PA may officially take over Tel Aviv.
Shlomo   (03.19.14)
Israel only has rights for Jewish cities, like Bnei Brak. Tel Aviv has annulled Shabbat, it can therefore officially be given to Arabs as Israel have no rights to it.
53. Junior is far more logical than his father
A ,   Belgium   (03.19.14)
Israel must and will annex Judea and Samaria permanently. The illegal Jordanian squatters in Judea and Samaria, presently hiding behind the name "palestinians", must be repatriated to their homeland across the Jordan River. The remaining arabs, may be absorbed into Israel and become Israeli citizens only after taking a vow of allegiance and if they have committed no crimes against Jews or the State of Israel. Those who have should be deported to gaza. They should required to serve the state as all citizens are required, either through military service or national service. The imaginary "palestine" will never come into existence.
54. Great idea. Annexation is the only solution
Jake ,   USA   (03.19.14)
2:1 Jewish majority is a lot better than being outnumbered 1:20 like we were 70 years ago. Consolidate your gains and put an end to the charade of talking peace with terrorists. The PLO deserve to thrown in jail, they DO NOT deserve a sovereign state. Annex the West Bank, start a process to integrate the Arab residents into Israel and the boycott movement will also implode on demand. Stop letting others decide your destiny, and take some initiative!
55. Jewish birth rates will exceed Arab ones in soon
Sean ,   Phoenix   (03.19.14)
Settler birth rates are 5 per household and West Bank Arabs only have 3 per family and declining. Within Israel itself, the Arab birth rate dropped 3.5% while the Jewish one climbed 1.3%. This accelerates a trend that has been occurring for 15 years. The elimination of the child support payments by the government late last year will reduce Arab (especially Bedouin) birth rates as they did when they were cut in 2003. Israel CAN annex the West Bank and maintain its Jewish character. The demographic time bomb arguments are 20 years out of date. Gaza should not be annexed and Israel is under zero obligation to take it since it does not occupy an inch of it.
56. If Israel were to hold an open referendum
Zev ,   Israel   (03.19.14)
I wonder how many Arabs would prefer to be part of Israel.
57. #25, spot on!
