I wish to take this opportunity to support in the strongest way possible the comments of numbers 3 and 34 and at one and the same time voice my disappointment and disgust withe the comments of 43 plus who speak either out of ignorance and or hatred of President Obama. Do not bite the hand that feeds you. Whatever Ya'alon's motivation he does no service to Israel by his uncalled for remarks since, I am sure, he knows better than to fault the Us for everything that goes wrong in the Middle East. Not to mention the disgusting comments by many where American Jewry is concerned.

63. NJDC? J Street? IPF?
Steve ,   USA   (03.21.14)
These are not pro-Israel or Jewish groups. They are first and foremost far leftist Obama hacks. Leftist shills. I think that Yaalon, who has served Israel his entire life, risked his life for Israel multiple times, is a little better qualified to express Israel's security concerns than some American leftist political hacks.

The National Jewish Democratic Council is an arm of the Obama administration and should not be quoted here as an impartial source. They don't provide Jewish values. They provide the socialism of the Democratic party.
65. Jewish Groups Slam Ya'alon
Baruch Fellner ,   Washington, D.C.   (03.21.14)
You would be well-advised to evaluate the "Jewish groups" before you leave the impression that they are objective, mainstream Jewish organizations. The NJDC, for example, is the Jewish group defending the Obama Administration on all foreign and domestic issues. They are the flipside of the RJC which uniformly criticizes the Obama Administration. If you want to report material as "opinions," that's fine, but to suggest these observations are "straight news" is entirely inaccurate and misleading.
66. American jews
Yaron ,   New York-USA   (03.21.14)
American jews are the same people who voted for Osama i meant Obama. At the end of the day the us jews are a bunch of liberals and feel their opinion is worth something because they donate a little money. As an american jew who served in the IDF , i support Yaalon and his comments and if Israel knows what is good for them then they wouldn't believe a word the comes out of this two faced president.
67. Roaring mouse Ya'alon makes damaging winds.
Michael ,   California, USA   (03.21.14)
Couldn't Israel afford sending its Minister to school to study international relations? Ya'alon must have some talent since he made it so high within the IDF ranks, even if those talents no longer visible. Come on, Nertanyahu, send him to school and give him a lot of homework to do every day. Maybe this will shut him down for a while? The money will be well spent through improved relations with Great Powers which sustain Israel.
68. Ridiculous article
Tal ,   Tel Aviv Israel   (03.21.14)
NJDC and IPF...2 left-wing water carriers for Barack Obama. A ridiculous article that should never have been printed.
69. USA policy is weak. Period
Norbus ,   Jerusalem   (03.21.14)
Vultures will soon land on the corpse It will take decades to restore Obama's defacto surrender from Cairo Speach, Arab Spring, China on Japan Islands, North Korea, Syria, Lybia, ...Lord it goes on, and Iran
70. #18, is mine. I wholeheartedly approve the comment.
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (03.22.14)
71. JEWISH Groups & Ya'alon
Judy Silver-Shapiro ,   USA   (03.22.14)
These 2 groups are more then marginal. The NJDC is obama's 100%, and shows more allegiance to SON-OF-ISLAM obama then to the security of ISRAEL and the safety of her citizens. In fact, ira forman, the former director, currently works for obama.
